Good: Large park, Full hook ups, pull thru and back in sites, can accommodate most large rigs and several Cabins. Pool, Lake for fishing or boating (row boat) A huge bouncer for the kids, play areas throughout the park and Putt Putt golf. Dump Station. Police patrol from time to time. Security on site, The Camp store offers more than average with a snack bar, small grocery items, RV needs like power cords filters etc. They offer t-shirts with their name on them. Very close to the Barn III Dinner... Read More

Security on site, The Camp store offers more than average with a snack bar, small grocery items, RV needs like power cords filters etc. They offer t-shirts with their name on them. Very close to the Barn III Dinner Theater. BAD!!!: Not the Timberline it once was. First the obvious, Entering the park in the middle of the main drive is a branch hanging down that would barely clear my truck. Some sites you really need to watch the limbs depending on the height of your rig. Next is the general appearance for the office area. People hanging out drinking (later find out they are residents here) Park is very large and the roads are very dusty. This from all the golf cart, atv, mini bike traffic that runs CONSTANTLY even after the so called quiet hours. The roads are rough with pot holes If you spend any amount of time here your rig will need a bath. Rules state that you must be 16 to operate golf carts etc however we witnessed many young children some barely able to reach the pedals driving golf carts and atvs with out parents near by. Sites are close together. Full hook up sewers do not seal, so you get to smell your neighbors waste. Dog poo pick up has not been enforced that I could see during out time. We even had the guy next to us allow his dog to poo right next to our fire pit and not clean it up. Trash is left in most fire pits from the previous campers for the next guy.... The pool area is trashy, beer cans, cigarettes, general trash and pool toys left at the pool most nights. Space for actual part time campers is limited to one area of the park. The rest of the spaces are mostly fulltime seasonal spots. The general upkeep of the part is poor. Lawns are not mowed regularly, weeds are not trimmed etc. Seasonal fulltime spots are trashy, Worse than the trailer park down the road. Old RVs with scabbed together decks and sheds. We even saw someone raising chickens for cryin out loud! Onsite Security is a joke at best. The guy drives around in a golf cart and does nothing but kick the kids out of the pool at closing time. I asked the guy to take care of the issue with the guy and the dog poo. His response was, " I will call him" You are right there Dude .. Afraid of confrontation I suppose. Residents here are a breed of their own. We camped at Timberline Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed there in a 36' motorhome. site was a fairly level pull through, but had to back out of site due to trees in the way. There was an adults only girls pool party that was extremely loud and didn't end until 11 p.m. NOT Appropriate for a "family campground"! Our 5 year old granddaughter was in tears because she couldn't sleep. We won't be back.

My wife and I spent one night here while passing through on our return from Yellowstone home to Florida. We nicknamed it the "Dust Pit" because all the traffic from the pipeline workers going up and down the gravel park roads raised quite a bit of dust, even though most of the drivers were going very slow (in other words, not their fault). Our full hookup parking space was fairly level, although gravel and was near the laundry room at my wife's request. The laundry area was fairly clean and worked... Read More

Our full hookup parking space was fairly level, although gravel and was near the laundry room at my wife's request. The laundry area was fairly clean and worked fine. My wife took a shower and said the shower was not draining properly and she had to stand in some fairly dirty water to dry off. It seems a lot of transient pipeline (from the previous reviewer) people are staying there for quite sometime so the campground appeared to be pretty full. It was quiet at night, though. It is not a place I would want to stay again, even for one night and I cannot recommend it.

Sunday I made reservations for Fri/Sat nights. I was told we would have 2 spots next to one another (one for our 36' RV and another for our trailer/Jeep) since it was offseason and they would not have many people there. They were completely packed. They double booked our site so we found another. The office seemed completely unimpressed by their lack of detail. In talking with other campers we found out that they have been there all summer because they are working the pipe line. We were put... Read More

In talking with other campers we found out that they have been there all summer because they are working the pipe line. We were put on an all grass site (with E/S/W hookup) in the rain with a 36' RV. Not an easy exit when it came time to leave. Our trailer was down the road. The mini-golf course was unusable. The grass was tall in the playground and the jumping pillow was not fully inflated. We did not use the bathroom/laundry facilities so I cannot rate those. Obviously the pool was closed in mid-September so I cannot rate that either. But we will not be back and we will not refer anyone there.
