Disgusting would describe it. We would have turned and run but it was late in the day and they had a spot. We initially booked two nights but after our arrival it was obvious it wouldnt be a long stay. First, the lady in the iffice made it sound like they were super busy and she was doing us a favor. Lie. We got there and the spots on either side of us never were booked. This place isn't really a campground. Its more like a trailer park gone wrong. I saw a couple kids playing but never... Read More

I saw a couple kids playing but never saw any of the other "campers". Apparantly mist people live there. We felt like we were camping in the alley of a trailer park. The pool was dirty and the hot tub in the picture was drained and had crime scene tape around it. We wanted a fire so they "rented" us a cheesy portable fire pit that looked like it was from a thrift store. I never heard of paying extra for a firepit. The bathroom was so gross I almost puked. Someone had defecated all over the toilet. We left at the crack of dawn. The rude lady refused to give us back our $30 for the camp spot for the night we didn't stay. Oh well maybe they will pay someone to clean the place with that money.

we were suppose to stay here one month.. the owner is horribly rude.. made reservations months before we were suppose to stay.. owner doesn't care about any requests that you want.. place was so junky and dirty... pool and hot tub were horrible and filthy.. would never suggest anyone to stay here even overnite.. we left as soon as owner treated us so horrible and no care attitude.. his way or leave.. so we left

While the help there was very nice, the owner is a very angry man. His way or the highway, The campground is very run down, the pool was a mess. The pictures are very misleading. The sites are so close to each other, you can barely breathe. We will never camp there again. We couldn't get out of there fast enough.

We were hoping that the Good Sam park would be worth the stay but we were disappointed. The gentleman at the desk was very kind but the park is in dire need of repairs. The hot tub was not working and the restrooms had some issues. They put us in a pull in next to many migrant workers while there were many other pull through sites that we saw the next morning, and it seems that the park has a lot of full time workers. Some of them share just one site. While we liked seeing the goats as we registered,... Read More

Some of them share just one site. While we liked seeing the goats as we registered, the park needs some major cleaning. We were happy to have a place to spend the nite, but were happy to leave the next morning, I think that someone needs to update the ratings on this park.

My family and I have stayed here twice and will not hesitate to come again. We come down in the winter and love this RV Park. My kids love feeding the goats and my wife and I love the spa. It is quiet and peaceful tucked into the side of a mountain overlooking the rivers and creeks flowing through black canyon city. The owner was friendly and available to answer questions. The two women working behind the counter are happy and ready to welcome you. As I said we will be back.

This campground is currently under renovation. The owner is beginning many updates and repair work which is normal for this region at this time of the year. Pool is solar heated so it is not usable once the temperatures drop too low at night. Goats are cute and friendly and get about an hour of free roaming time every day during which they will try to raid your food stores so if you tent camp, don't leave food out. Store is well stocked. Laundry area is clean and prices were reasonable. Considering... Read More

Laundry area is clean and prices were reasonable. Considering most campgrounds in Arizona do not allow tent camping, its nice to find one that not only allows it but also offers water and electricity at each tent site for a reasonable fee along with all the other amenities including Wi-Fi and Hot tub. Tent sites are located close to the main building and bathrooms.
