This is another good Florida state park. Main road is a bit rough in some areas, but nothing worth worrying about. Hurricane damage is not noticeable in the campground area. We were in site #17 which is between another site and a cabin. Sites are fairly well separated. #17 is shown as short in length, but we had NO problem with our 31 feet mh and car. Some sites are directly on the river, but we were set back. Sites are gravel. Restrooms and showers are kept clean. Each spot has a fire ring and... Read More

Sneads is quite close and has a large grocery store, Dollar General, gas station, etc.

FL state campground. We visited for only one night, but we will definitely try to return because of it's condition and views. The sites are gravel, but they were well maintained. Our site overlooked the lake - beautiful. Fishing/hiking & biking trails. Our rating is only 3 stars because there is water/electric only, and there is no cable/wifi. It did not look like there were spaces for big rigs, so better check ahead of time. Would return.

3 Rivers State Park is an out of the way, quiet park laid back park the staff (including the volunteers) is always friendly and helpful. We try to go over several times a year to relax. There is a long "t" shaped fishing peir, a boat ramp at the campground and one for the public elsewhere., The sites are mostly gravel and decent sized. There are several handicap sites which are concrete and level. The showers are always clean and the water is really hot. They have completed a lot of upgrades lately... Read More

They have completed a lot of upgrades lately putting in guard rails marking the sites and upgrading to 50 amp, installing safety netting on the pier, with more upgrades to be done. There is a camping cabin for rent. Wildlife watching is excellent on our recent trip we observed deer, gray squirrels, fox squirrels, racoons (naturally) and do not forget alligators.Fishing is usually good. Close to grocery stores and shopping in Sneads is only a mile or two, One of the best restaurants in the area is Pappy Toms Restaurant at HWY 90 and River Road and has a pizza that is outstanding and we try to visit there at least one each trip. it does fill up mostly with locals on weekends so reservation is recommended.
