St. Vrain is a very nice, clean park with great fishing and bird watching (bald eagles, blue heron, pelicans.) The park is kept spotlessly clean and the rangers and camp hosts are very friendly and helpful. The negatives are the showers which are in need of maintenance, no on-site laundry, and it is expensive at $43 per night for an electric-only site. This includes the outrageous $10 reservation fee and a $7 park entrance fee (a Colorado State Parks oddity). We camped at St. Vrain State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park many fishing ponds and a large lake. Campsites are large but lack trees but there is a covered picnic table. Sites are close to 2 major highways so it can be noisy so select a spot as far from roads as possible.
