This is one of the two campgrounds that takes reservations. It allows you to explore the western side of the park and is right on the lake. The sites here are beautiful, fully in the trees and nicely spaced. The bathrooms were clean and there is a new dump station. We have a 36ft class A and while it was tight getting in, the number of trees and the nearby lake and creek made it nice. The location is also excellent, great for seeing the western side of the park, driving the Going to Sun Road, close to West Glacier for river rafting. There are also nice bike trails from the campground to Apgar and around. So much to do.
