Stayed there for an overnight stop. A country setting….very nice check in process….all spots are pull through which is a bonus. Well kept park..extremely happy until the train came through…lol happened about three times in 4 hours..last time was about 1030 pm. Came through again about seven in the morning. Bathrooms were a little dated but well-kept overall would stay there again.

We got there wait. We had called to let them know. They waited for us; personally led us to our site. Very welcoming. Gave us good information about things to see .

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time here. The bathrooms were clean with extra large sized showers. The property was beautiful with one side facing the creek that runs past the campground and the other facing the cornfields and the quaint town of Paxico. There is a train right next to the park, however it didn't bother us and my husband is a very light sleeper. My advise is to ask for a spot as close to the creek as possible and it shouldn't be a problem. the man who runs the place is an ex-fulltimer who really understands the needs of his guests and was very helpful throughout our stay. If I'm ever back this way again, I'll definitely stay a night or two!

We were on our way home from Colorado. Very happy with this campground. Owner was very nice and relaxed. Bathrooms were older but very clean and decorated. Nice swing by the river. There is a train close by but that didn't bother us. Good wifi. We were really happy with this place - maybe after staying at some really strict and uptight campgrounds, this was exactly what we needed! We would stay here again anytime.

A quaint rustic RV park. Located beside the railroad line. We had an pull thru large enough for Rig & Toad. Most of the occupants are permanent, and their sites were from clean and neat to dumps. Small stream on property provided good place for Coco to swim. Wish we had walked into town. It looked to be quite interesting.

What's good: Nice facility, easy access and exit. What's not good: 200 feet from the train tracks which runs ALL NIGHT with the horn blowing. Feels like the train is coming right through the RV.

Stayed here for one evening coming home from Colorado. Plenty of room to keep Toad attached on pull through. Nice shaded campsites with plenty of area to walk by the creek and campground. The town of Paxico is full of antiques if that is your thing. Downside is the campground is next to the railroad tracks. We were so tired we didn't hear the trains that evening. I would stay here again.

Only spent one night at this park. Easy access off of I70 and close to exit. People seemed nice on phone but never saw the office open. The map to our site was very confusing and had to ask someone driving by for help. Was told we were in one site and someone was already in it, so we took the one next to them. The water faucet leaked badly so we did not hook that up. The train tracks were 10 yards from the front of our bus and they ran all night with the train blowing its whistle 100 yards away. Will not go back due to lack of sleep.

The people who run the campground are quite nice. The site is an easy pull in, with some trees that are fairly mature. Nice grassy areas, and the creek is on the side opposite the tracks. Gravel and dirt road/sites. The reasons for only three stars: The picnic table needs to be sanded and painted, the site is right next to the double railroad track with trains running quite often day and night, the train blows his whistle right down the road a very short way, and the water is so horrible tasting, even my tea with milk was undrinkable. We started from Colorado, and went south all the way to Savannah, Georgia. Now we are on the way back and have been on the road for almost 6 weeks, crisscrossing the middle part of the US. Only one other had water that was not to my liking, but at least I could drink it. This is horrid and even gritty. My advice: Bring bottled water. and ask if there is a site away from the tracks. Have a table cloth and some pads to sit on at the picnic table.

We stayed one night at this campground, on the way to Utah. It is very close to 70, which makes it nice if you are traveling. The owner was very nice and helpful. It is a very sm town, the owner suggested we try a tavern that was within walking distance of the park, called the Longhorn. They had delicious sandwiches was quiet and family friendly. There is a nice little stream going by the park, it is a very pretty park. It is perfect if you need a night or a day or two to recoup from the rigors of being on the road, or having a hectic schedule.
