This was our first trip at Adventure Bound, we enjoyed the location and the area. The pool area was really over crowded, we had better luck at the river beach. The bathrooms were all ok, but the shower houses need some tlc. They were dirty, had rotted wood lining the bottom, and around the walls and ceilings were moldy. Showers aside, the site was clean and nice, the store clerks were helpful and attentive, and the park was clean.

We chose this campground because we were vacationing with children. What I found concerning was the lack of security features such as a gate to keep non-campers out, and the campground had only a flimsy, dilapidated fence which partially bordered the campground. We were vacationing with several families, some of which were tenting. We stayed on sites 214, 213, 212, 233, & 232. The bathrooms and showers that were close to our sites were dirty for the entire 4 days we were camping. The campground... Read More

The pool was extremely cold even in mid-summer, be forewarned. The staff was polite and the campground has a decent store that stocks most items you may need, even beer. This campground charges $75/night for full hook-up sites and an additional $15/night for each additional adult. These are premium prices for a substandard campground. It honestly was not worth such prices.
