Personnel very friendly and professional. Sites are VERY TIGHT getting in and out of for big rigs. We have a 38 ft class A and took more than one try. Leveling was out of the question.

Appeal Rating This park wasn't super inviting at first glance as it's tucked in next to the freeway and has some mobile homes at the back. However the grounds are well kept and the couple running the place was friendly and welcoming. They helped us get parked and also helped troubleshoot a setting on our RV to get the TV working. We felt very comfortable here.
There was a bit of highway noise at the site but it wasn't noticeable inside the rv. Sites were flat and level with gravel.
Not much to do in the area but I would happily stay here again next time passing through the area. Diesel, beer and coffee as well as basic supplies are available just a minute or two down the street.

Appeal Rating We have stayed at Blue Anchor two years in a row, The campground and all facilities is fantastic. Campground hosts are head and shoulders above other campground hosts at other campgrounds. See you in August 2018.

We stayed for 2 months...ONLY because we were unable to find another place in the area that had a vacancy for that long. The place is a revamped trailer park. Needs lots of cleaning and updating in appearance. The managers did some when knew Good Sam was coming to inspect and kept cleaning some afterwards. I watched the same pile of shrub trimmings lay in same spot for 3 weeks and still there when we left. Dog droppings everywhere...I pick up after our two dogs, but refuse to clean up after other people's dogs. The leash rule is NOT managed even though we were told two men got into a fist fight over that earlier. Spaces are tight. Sewer and water connections are archaic. Had to duct tape our new equipment to the 3 into 1 sewer hole. Threaded abs was not used . Just a glue in type 3 prong abs junction sticking up out of ground. Always stunk bad when I emptied black water.
There were 3 hose doubler connections on our water connection(to service two RVs) and it was below ground level. Power stands are in good shape. There really isn't much choice on the I-90 corridor from the Montana line to Couer D' Alene, Idaho. It's O.K. for a week, but if we could've found anything else we would've left. They certainly had no problems taking our $450 a month. In this case "beggars can't be choosy". The managers were new and overwhelmed. The told us they had a lot of situations left by previous manager.
