If you are looking for an immaculate campground and great hosts, this is it. Nestled in a shady grove of trees off the highway in Franklin, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 5 nights. I would highly recommend the campground to anyone. We will certainly be back.

My husband and I (upper 40's) were looking to spend my birthday up in Franklin, NC in order to have dinner with my parents and a few local people. I found this cute little RV spot that was close by. My husband and I (upper 40's) were looking to spend my birthday up in Franklin, NC in order to have dinner with my parents and a few local people. I found this cute little RV spot that was close by. We pulled in and i noticed a very beautifully kept campground. As we pulled in the Host met us in the drive. I immediately noticed there were no other campers at the grounds other than the host and one other parked in the back, which turned out to be the owners. This was a seasonal camp ground and had just opened up a short time before. The host showed us to our little spot right behind the bath house and immediately let us know that the Owners were strict on parking to be sure not to park on the grass and give us our list of rules. I informed her that my parents would be picking us up for dinner and then dropping us off. She said that would be ok but she normally charges for this since the owners were there. I found that a bit odd that we were not allowed to have anyone come to our site with us being the only ones there. The host did not really seem too open to us. We continued to set up our travel trailer along with our little pup. As expected my parents came to pick us up and take us to dinner for my birthday. We returned and no sooner than we got settled in, the other host met my husband on the way to the restroom asking about our pup and why he was being left alone. i was 10 feet from him. Our pup is only 12 weeks old. My husband instructed that he was not alone and would not be left alone. We sat down at our picnic table relax for a bit when another car came in asking about the camp grounds. We told them about it and they left. Immediately following this the host shows up yet again demanding to know what is going on. After we explained to them that we had nothing to do with the last car and explained yet again about my parents, he left. My husband was furious and I felt totally uncomfortable and unwelcome. This property is up for sale and it might be better after the sale but for them to keep coming to us like they were... it was like they were watching our every move. No, we are not as old as your normal campers and no we do not have a high dollar camper like the owner, host or the two additional campers that showed up, but that does not give reason for the constant supervision. We have never felt so unwelcome at any establishment. you should never judge a book by it's cover!

Beautiful park like setting. We took the site on the edge of the park overlooking a little Meadow with a small creek. The manager was very helpful and gave us lots of nice brochures about the surrounding towns. Bathrooms were very clean. Wifi and cable both worked extremely well. Only negative was some road noise.
