Spent one night here with our 40 foot class A towing a vehicle. Stayed in G6 which was easy out. Any row but G will cause you to have to circle around the campground before you can exit. Our site was level enough and had a good concrete pad, but sewer pipe was not threaded and was broken off part way into ground. Many of the sites have cracked concrete pads. The person next to us couldn't get electricity from his pedestal and it was a while before before someone could come out to find a spot... Read More

Geese were in the campground and you have to be careful where you walk do avoid their droppings. This has the feel of an RV park that was nice when it opened, but one they haven't worked at maintaining. On the plus side they have WIFI and cable hookup (although we didn't try the cable). Trees are small and if you have a satellite you shouldn't have an issue getting a signal. It is near I-35, but the noise is not too bad.

Very disappointed with this stop. Despite all assurances from staff over the phone in the morning, we arrived to find no water. With no bath/shower house as a backup this was a real problem for us. We will try not to return.

We stopped here despite the bad reviews, and found a very clean & well maintained no frills park. There are level concrete pads with full hookups for $20 a night. Iowa in fall is just beautiful.

If looking for a place to flop for the night, this would be ok. Being winter, we needed electric to run the heat. Our unit was still winterized, so water was not needed.($20 was too much for the night. It was worth $10) It was a COLD 1/4 mile hike to the casino so stayed put. The overall sites are in poor condition and need a lot of work. A number of the pads were unusable. If it was warm weather, the truck stops on the same exit are a much better bet.

Avoid this place. Narrow paths to get to sites, narrow sites with deep ruts alongside. Some of the power posts are defective and have been for a while. Getting in and out without getting stuck, high-centered or bumping another RV is a challenge. If you just have to visit the casino, park where the trucks do and run your generator.
