We stayed at Parkwood for a few months while we were in between houses and we could not have been more pleased with the property. They maintain everything very well and the staff was especially helpful! I would highly recommend Parkwood & will definitely stay there when we come back to visit Statesboro!

We only spent one night here. We were trying to avoid an encounter with Hurricane Matthew and decided that we wanted to be further inland than Statesboro so we left to head west. Parkwood is a very nice park with full hook up 50 amp sites. We had a pull through with cable service and a picnic table on a concrete patio. The free WiFi worked OK for us and the bathrooms were very clean. For our one night stay it provided everything we needed. We paid $33.30 per night with Good Sam discount.

My husband and I have used class C's for more than 30 years. We chose Parkwood RV because of the Good Sam's rating. We will not be staying here again. The RV Park reminded my husband and me of a motel/campground from the fifties. All were grass sites, which are fine; ours was a pull-thru. The restroom is very outdated, no circulating fan to move the air around so the restroom was stifling to try to spend any more than 10 minutes in there with the weather outside an average of 95 degrees. The showers are the type where you shower and then have to dress in the open (no privacy). The tables on the site were on new bricks but they were all warped and unusable to sit on. The pool was clean but very small. The staff was very friendly.

We decided to stay here while dropping our son off at GSU for freshman summer school. It was a perfect spot for us while visiting the campus and surrounding areas. There's not many tree's so sun is abundant. We didn't use any other facilities there besides the full hook up at the camp site. Cable TV and WIFI worked perfect for our stay. We've already book and weekend in September for family weekend at the campus.

Very quaint location in a college town. The campground is small but nicely equipped. It has a small shower house with 2 showers, 2 toilets, 2 sinks per gender. The best part about the campground is that it is all grass. The sites are pull-through with all the amenities. Real close to family fun, shopping, eating.

The Staff at RV Parkwood are the friendliest that I have met, although this is my first RV site, so they are the only RV staff I have met. If your new to RVing like I am, and you have questions...they are very nice and patient and are more than willing to help you. If they can not help you, they had a directory of people they know that can help you. I have been here for an extended stay since Feb.2016. I have never had any issues with anyone at this park, nor was there ever any noise issues. They... Read More

I have never had any issues with anyone at this park, nor was there ever any noise issues. They also leave you notes on your door if they spot an issue with your RV. I didn't know I had a water hose leak, and they left me a message about it via a sticky on my window. If they didn't spend the time to let me know, I would have ended up with a busted hose and having to get a new one at a inconvenient time. They also leave you a message if they recently sprayed in your area (for which I'm not sure what they was spraying other than a time it was sprayed and how long it takes to dry). I am guessing it was for insects? I would have said weeds, but they have a yard service crew they takes very good care of the park's lawn and other areas. Overall, want a very nice 'n quiet place? This is it. Well worth the extended stay! I am leaving around 26-27th of this May 2016. I am going to a RV Park in Granite Falls, MN.

Parkwood RV & Cottages is really a nice RV park to stay at. The campground is neat as a pin, the bathrooms are as clean as your own home, and the staff treats you as family. We're Fulltimers and stayed here 6 weeks in our class A. There are quite a few restaraunts very near the park and many more less that a 5 mile radius - you really need to eat at the Millhouse about 3 miles away - great menu and drinks are $2.47 all day every day. We are so glad we chose Parkwood RV and Cottages for our spring... Read More

Great weekend stay. The weather was perfect and the grassy area was very clean, no tracking into our camper. Very convenient location to GSU!
