This is the 2nd year we have stayed at this RV resort. What we like about it is it is located within walking distance to both a beautiful river and the Twin Lakes. The river is less than a 1/4 mile away and offers the chance to hike along the river's banks and the chance to fish. The river is clear and cold and beautiful shade trees on both sides of the river. The resort also has a marina which rents fishing boats, pontoon boats, kayaks and other water craft. There is also a store for basic needs... Read More

The views of the Saw Tooth mountains is incredible. For those who want a beautiful hike there is the Barney Lake trail, just a few miles down the road. A eight mile out and back trail. For the most part the staff was helpful and friendly, Even though we did meet one who was grumpy and less than helpful. It is common to have Mule Deer walk up to you in the camp site area. Some people have been feeding them so they are very friendly. Not good for the deer come hunting season! Also they have bear who occasionally visit the trash bins at night. So it is not a good idea to leave food outside. There is no cell phone service at the RV Park but they do have Wifi which is somewhat spotty. Over all we really enjoy this resort. If you love nature, water sports or fishing, you'll love it. If you are a city slicker this may not be your cup of tea.

I give the restrooms 2 stars since you have to pay $3 in quarters for a five minute shower. Nowhere on the parks website does it state this. Don't use the word resort and have pay showers. The bathrooms are clean and in good condition. The WIFI works in two wagon wheel campsites and the bathroom quite well, that brought up my overall rating.

We stayed in one of the 4 premium sites. The site we had was a pull thru and it had plenty of room for a 36' with 3 slides. Nice afternoon shade. Very close to the lake, marina and store. Every evening the deer would come down to the lawn area to play and eat the well watered grass. It is very peaceful and quiet. Each spot has a fire ring, picnic table and full hookups.. They do not have any TV or cell service. They do have WiFi for an additional fee. The nearby lake and creek are stocked with trout... Read More

They are in the process of doing updates and upgrades throughout the park a little at a time. We were there in august and the weather was beautiful in the high 70s low 80s during the day with a afternoon breeze. We will be going back. Recommended for fisherpeople and families. Dog friendly as well.
