Sites very close together and not level. Very little shade. Very pricey. And pool was cloudy. Nice to have hot tub that was good, water clear but it needs a paint job . Activities for kids very good. Not impressed enough to come back. Lots of hills not really sure how they made it Campground out of this Terrain. Lots of gravel big pieces and little hard for kids bicycle or anyone on two wheels. Quiet at night though pretty much off the highway if you needed to stop for night on the way to somewhere else.
No shade, small sites, very few activities. Non seasonal aren’t allowed to use the pool until noon. No pop ups allowed. This campground has no reason to act so snotty. Aside from proximity to some beaches it has almost nothing to offer.
I STAYED HERE BECAUSE OF THE RATING THEY GOT FROM GOOD SAM. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. COULD NOT GET MY MOTOR HOME LEVEL BECAUSE I WAS ON A HILL!!! OVER PRICED!!! I LOOKED AT THE SEWER HOSE FROM OUR NEIGHBOR. NO PRIVACY!! WILL NEVER GO BACK.
We stayed at this campground for 5 days. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the area and campground was beautiful. Easy access to all places. We arrived after hours and still had no problem getting in. The security person guided us to our site. If the weather had been warmer we would have made use of their pool and other many amenities. This did not stop the children from enjoying the pool and waterpark. The only negatives I could think of was the streets and campsites could be better marked and more lighting installed. As this is a newer park one could more improvements coming to a great place to stay.
Great place!! everything was top notch. We enjoyed our week there. Friendly, courteous staff. Fees were reasonable, as well as the fees for ice and firewood. We would consider going back, or at least recommend it to other campers. If you have kids, this is the place to go! beautiful pool area!! Plenty for the kids, and adults alike to do. Beach is a short drive as well.
We stayed during the week of school vacation in April 2016. The place is new and we found it to be clean and well laid out. Since it's new it's mostly open sites, with no trees in or around the sites, so don't expect the feel of the woods. The staff was very nice and the restroom/shower facilities were great. The WIFI was spotty and the cable TV left a little to be desired. The picture quality was poor and there was almost no over-the-air reception because of the location. But it's close to beaches and shopping/dining. We liked it enough that we're going back in July.
We stayed at the Ashaway RV Resort from the middle of August 2015 to the middle of October 2015 while working in the area. This was our first experience RVing! We loved the resort and management was great! Fire pits and picnic tables on every site was a nice perk. The pool and hot tub were awesome. Resort amenities were top notch and family friendly. Resort is almost brand new and the trees are maturing beautifully!
