Exceptional facility, great folks, friendly staff and reasonable rates, what more could anyone ask? Surely will return if in the area. We stayed Thanksgiving week 2018 and for the first time ever in 10 years of RV travel the owners and staff served ALL campers a complementary ham and turkey dinner. Apparently they have done this the last number of years as a thank you to customers and we say congrats and thanks to them. Recommend anyone traveling in the area give Camp Lake Jasper a try.

what can i say ? this park is a diamond in the shadow of a county park and conveniently located a mile and half off of I95 /staff was very friendly and helpful pointing out local cuisine / this park is centrally located to visit Savannah /Hilton Head /Tybee island / we did not use pool or washrooms but all looked very nice / our site was a pull thru (#97) with a sand site, concrete patio with table and fire ring / the grounds has a cute covered fishing dock overlooking the lake - very nice to sit and relax / the adjoining nature trail has great views of the lake / i would recommend staying here if visiting multiple areas like my wife and i did / stayed for six nights and enjoyed each one

We stayed at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort for 5 nights. Great location for day trips to Savannah GA, Hilton Head, Tybee Island, etc. Very friendly staff. The full hookups were well placed. 50, 30 and 20 amp electrical service. Very good water pressure (70 psi). We had a back in site (33) next to the lake nice view. The resort is very well maintained. I would like to see the resort carry propane that would be convenient. We would stay there again.

Outstanding RV Park. Beautiful setting back in the Carolina woods next to a little lake complete with gators. Our site was sandy with a concrete pad for living, gravel to park the rig. Hook ups required some longer pipes and cords. WIFi was strong and staff was super friendly and helpful. Convenient to Savannah (20 minute drive) No propane sales on site but Tractor Supply is an 8 mile trip so no problem.for removable tanks - not sure how they'd deal with on-board propane for big rigs. We love this place and would like to spend more time there in a warmer part of the year.

Our site was sand which was not level and posed leveling issues. Each night we heard the trains going by after midnight and the garbage truck coming into the resort about 3:30am. Not as quiet as we were hoping for. The staff was very friendly and the park was clean, but we did not use the pool or bath houses.

As soon as my wife and I made decision to buy our New to us Class A in Tampa I knew this the place to make our day 2 stop. Back in Dec 16, We had called about spending a night. All they had was my name and contact number . A major mechanical failure that prevented us from continuing on after day 1 The morning after they were calling me to make sure we were okay. I was more than impressed. We arrived about 4 pm and the woman at the check in was extremely friendly and helpful. She was unable to provide us an escort to our site but did give me very detailed directions to our site (#98) and asked about our water regulator ( Pressure at hookup is 70 psi a fact she stated and is noted on their bulletin board) she advised me that many people have problems with cheaper ones. We found our site with no problem and were off to the dog park as our little one believes it is against the law for her to go while on a leash. The Dog park was clean and even provides a small woodlot that the Kids enjoyed exploring. Collection bags are provided as is a disposal station. On word of caution some of CLJ's neighbors on the other side of the fence keep Chickens and they infiltrate near the dog park but help keep the insect population down so no complaint. Also they are far enough away from our site we never heard them. Back at the site hooking up was breeze. We were parked an level packed sand gravel mix base. The pedestal is conveniently located and clearly marked. Site was Clean with a concrete patio, picnic table and fire ring. We didn't use the laundry room, pool or comfort stations but did walk over to check them out and found all to be very clean Before we left I booked for our return trip. I did have to amend that as we had a delivery problem with new unit a 3 min. phone call too care of that. It is a very easy trek to and from I-95 with some major shopping and dining options nearby. CLJ is at the top of our list for a stay in the near future.

My Wife and I stayed here for a week in October 2017. We stayed right by the lake and next to the pool (site 39). Even being right next to the pool, it was really quiet and relaxing. Site was level and had a nice concrete patio. Hookups were close and easy to access. Wish the water connections were a little taller so my pressure regulator wasn’t so close to the ground. Definitely want to have a regulator here. Water pressure is solid and high, as in most good campgrounds. Campground was full our entire stay, and never had power issues. Beautiful area and close to Savannah and Hilton Head. Definitely recommend this site if you are looking in this area. Clean, new and quaint. We will be back again.

A nice park, about 20 miles north of Savannah, GA. Sites are mostly level, our site required a little extra attention to get the RV level. Nothing major though. Staff is friendly. We came at the time of the LOVE BUGS! They are all over the place. It is on a small lake and they do advise about Alligators, but they stay in the lake. The only downside is that we were required to leave the park, due to Hurricane IRMA. I have requested to have our fees be refunded, but don't know if we will get them back. Not a bad park and I would stay there again.

Nice newer facility. Many new upgrades in process. Lake sites provide nice view of Lake Jasper. They are gravel sites with about 20' to 25' between rigs. Good laundry facility. Restrooms and showers are clean, but not air conditioned. Pool is nice. Lots of space to walk your dog. Maintenance person was seen riding around taking care of basics frequently. Nearby access to state park. Hilton Head island close by car. Good place to stay.

Only stayed one night on trip from Tampa to NC - easy access off I-95. Could only get back-in since park was full. Had Derby party next to the General Store. Site was long enough that we did not unhook our 58' unit. This would be a great site for visiting Savannah or Hilton Head. Hope to visit again.

We stayed at Camp Lake Jasper for a week in a 40' fifth wheel in a pull thru site. This park is spacious, Beautiful and well laid out. Roads are wide and paved with the sites covered with gravel. Hookups worked well with the exception of the internet. There was no internet during our stay and no one seemed concerned as to fixing it. The pool was very nice but was also not working during for most of our stay because of mechanical issues. The pool is not heated which is a drawback. Nice park for a family to camp and also a good overnight but you will wish you were staying longer once you see Camp lake Jasper. There are lakes with bass to fish for and hiking in the adjacent park that makes it a good place for pets. Located just twenty miles from Savannah and Hilton Head Island it's a good base for sightseeing. Our experience was that the front office wasn't very friendly but the rest of the staff made up for it.

I wanted to like this campground. It was a clean well maintained campground. The sites are good size. Ours was a pull through on dirt with a concrete patio The grounds are clean. Access in and out is easy. The laundry room was clean and fresh. The issues I have which lowered my ratings are that the WiFi was not working at all during our stay and the pool was closed during our stay. I realize that many people do not use or care about these services but some of us do and we look for campgrounds that advertise that they provide it. It bothered me when the receipt I got from this campground had in bold print that the WiFi was free and therefore not guaranteed to work. And coincidentally they told us upon check in that it was not working. They also said the pool was closed. The costs to provide these types of services including WiFi, pool access, bathroom and shower facilities, etc. are included in the camping fee. To say they are free and not guaranteed is just ridiculous.

We stayed here twice in December, heading up and back from Asheville from FL. The campground is very nice and well kept, the people very friendly. Sites are large enough and they were not overly busy either of our 2 visits. This will be our "go to" stop over spot for future trips up north. Our only complaint is that all of the sites were dirt. It was wet both days so there was a lot of tracking mud into the RV. Gravel or pavement would be preferable.

Top-notch facility with easy access to I-95, local attractions, and the city of Savannah. Well-managed, clean rest rooms, level parking pads, and full service hook ups. Pool was immaculate and it was professionally cleaned every morning by 0600. Very reasonably priced considering the amenities and location. If you're heading to Savannah this is the place to stay. Helpful, courteous staff.

This is a beautiful place on a lake. It reminds me of a suburban neighborhood complete with curbed streets. This is a fairly new park with a store with basic needs. Not my kind of park because I prefer nature and state or federal parks but if a new clean suburban area is what you want this is your park.

Stayed here while starting our full time life, about 2 months. Sites are generally good with fairly level grass/gravel parking, and mostly concrete pads with table. Fire rings are provided. Cable TV has descent channels. Very quiet area. Close to I-95, and about 6 miles from a large Wally World, with a pretty new Publix across the parking lot. Definitely enjoyed here, and will stay here when back thru.

This was our second time staying at this campground and we love it. It's a great location to stay for visiting all the neat little towns nearby. The campground is practically brand new. The pool is PERFECT. The bath rooms and showers are excellent. The laundry is convenient (make sure you entering your quarters in the correct machine because they are stacked and the coin operation is a bit confusing). The lake is also very nice and provides a great setting. What a relaxing campground. You will enjoy staying here.

We enjoyed this quiet little campground. Very clean and peaceful. Loved our lake view. It was hot that week in June and more shade would have been a nice relief but that will probably come in time since it does appear to be a newer park. Very nice management. Easy access from 95. Would definitely stay there again.

Great little park. Right off I95 and close to Beaufort and Hilton Head Island. Most of the interior lots have patio's. We reserved a lake view lot and there was not a patio but it was fine. The lake lot was large and we had plenty of space. Very nice pool and bath house. My kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. This is a very dog friendly park. There were two or three area's designated for dogs and a fenced in Bark Park. All facilities were very clean and we saw the maintenance man constantly riding around cleaning, cutting grass etc. Office staff was very friendly as well. All they need now is a nice playground and they will be all set! Definitely recommend this park and we will be back.
