We started going to Elkamp about the time the new owners arrived. The campground has improved 100x's over since they took over. The RV sites are always clean and ready for your arrival. The store is cute with lots of things to look at and buy. The small creek is nice and the large field to run the dogs is the best (according to Bentley)! We have been going now for I think 3 years and it just always gets better. The owners are amazing, in tune with what campers are looking for and always come around... Read More

The sites pretty much all have power and water and there is a dump station near the main restroom building. If I had to say something that I feel could be better it would be the placement of the septic dump station(was there when the new owners took over so not much they could do about that) Its in a location that is not really based on your leaving it's more based on your arrival. Keep doing what your doing its a GREAT place to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quiet campground with large semi fenced off leash pet area that also includes kids play area. Swings, horseshoes, and tetherball in the play area. A walking bridge over the creek separates the dog run-kids play area from the camp sites. BE AWARE there is NO internet, antenna/cable connectivity options at this park despite their advertisement on this website. Water/Electric hookup was $40.00. To use their restrooms $5.00. To use dump station another $5.00. We discovered after our stay that similar... Read More

On our 1300 mile trip this site cost the most for the least amount of amenities! It's a quite park about a 1/4 mile off the main road. Parking, picnic table and fire ring area are all level with 1 1/4" gravel/rock throughout.
