Appeal Rating We stay here frequently, however, Treasure Lake is a membership/owner campground. Owners may stay as often as they like (it is NOT a timeshare, but there are a few limitations). Currently owners only pay $7 per night for full hookup. Otherwise, you must be a member of Coast-to-Coast (and maybe some other program) to stay here and they pay a little more.
Purchasing at Treasure Lake is pretty inexpensive as the amenities are amazing and include: indoor & outdoor pool, mini golf, movie theater, disc golf, walking trails, shuffle board, sand volleyball, music shows in the clubhouse and gated entrances. All of these are free, including the movies.
Our last stay was over the 4th of July and they have a really good fireworks show. They allow the community to come into their overflow lots (not into the campground) for the show. The 4th is the only time you really have to show up early to get a good camping site, they always have plenty of good sites and nearly every one is shaded to some degree.
We love it for the fact that there is a gatehouse and we can feel comfortable letting our kids ride their bikes all over and they are relatively safe. You won't find any of the drunken parties here, so if you want that, go somewhere else. This is a nice quiet, family environment with lots of amenities. Call them up and ask about membership (I think they used to offer a "trial" weekend if you wanted to check out the park).
