Very narrow sites. Dangerous slippery inclines as you exit your camper. Bathrooms are not kept up, dirty, waste in toilets or plugged toilets. Low or no supplies. Facility is very much under-staffed.

The campground is old and in need of repair. Water and sewer are at the front of the site so had to use extension for electric and couldn't reach water with 25' hose. Site had candy wrappers around and was very narrow. The picnic table had to be placed on a step incline. Bathroom had 3 stalls. 2 still had waste in toilets and the 3rd had no toilet paper. Also when you arrive you are warned about poison oak which is not mentioned in any of there promotions. Avoid this campground.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving and had a great time. The overall campground had a good ambiance, felt very safe, no loud neighbors partying late into the night and the Russian river being there was great for hiking. As a Thousand Trail member, it was no cost to us to stay here. The restrooms and clubhouse are older buildings and it showed but they were clean and we had no issues with them. The bonus is if you have a dog, it can run off leash at the river so our dog had a great time. The only thing that was a bit of a hassle was you don't reserve a site, you drive around until you find one you like, we picked a back-in site and it was no problem backing in our 34' TT. If they would of had full hookups, I would have given them a 5 stars on the Facility Rating. All the hook-ups were water and electricity only but they do have a free sewage dump station that we used. The people who work there were very friendly and helpful.
