We spend a weekend at the Palouse City RV Park, having made reservations (Yes, you can make reservations through the City offices.) a couple of months in advance. This is a small RV park with only ten spaces, but it's located in a quiet part of town, across from the city park that has a large grass area, a playground, the city swimming pool, and an adequate restroom facility. There are five pull-thru spaces that will accommodate a 45-foot motorhome, and five back-in spaces. ALL spaces have full... Read More

There are five pull-thru spaces that will accommodate a 45-foot motorhome, and five back-in spaces. ALL spaces have full hook-ups. There is wifi and the reception was magnificent compared to many larger and newer RV parks where we've stayed. The parking spaces are small decorative rock/gravel but are adjoined by a concrete patio with a large, heavy picnic table. The spaces are separated by a wide grass area, so you have grass on both sides of the space. The cost for the campground is $30 per night. Be prepared to add significant leveling to one or more sides and at least one end. I spent about an hour trying to level my fifth wheel that's equipped with an automatic leveling system. That system was of no use due to the slopes on one end and one side. I was able to get the front-rear almost level, but the driver side was slanted in spite of using 8 Lego-type leveling blocks under my outer rear leveling jack. Most of the sites appeared to be much leveler than our site, but the pull-thru sites still slope toward the street. There's a small market about two blocks away in the center of the town, and there are two restaurants/bars, one of which serves breakfast seven days a week. The surrounding countryside of the Palouse area of eastern Washington is beautiful rolling hills covered with wheat and trees. Spokane is about a 1.5-hour drive, Pullman, Washington and Moscow, Idaho are both about 25 minutes away, and Lewiston, Idaho is about 45 minutes south. If you want a clean and quiet place to spend a night or more then this is a great place.

Was direct to this park by our GPS after travelling all day. It was the only one in the area. When driving into the town you can see the park but it is a round about way to get to it. Should not be any problem getting to for any size rig. Park is not manned and you pick your site and then put your money in the lockbox. Parking pads are gravel but there is a lot of grass area around. There is a large very nice park across the street with a swimming pool and very nice picnic areas. The bathrooms... Read More

They were clean and looked to be well maintained. This was only an over night stop for us and would definitely stay there again stay there again if in the area. Does not look like you can make reservations though. With only 10 sites it may be a problem getting in during the summer.
