Great place to stay when visiting the area. Fairly easy to maneuver. People are nice and there are nice tours to take right from RV Park. Lots of trees, so you cannot use satellite dish. Don't follow Google or you wind up going through town. Come in from the west.

One of the best campgrounds I've ever stayed at. Full hook-ups and pull-thrus on Shady Lanes. Pool and hot tub. Close to bike path and public transit with easy access to the city center.

Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 4 nights in a site for big rigs. Nice and clean park. Friendly staff and very close to the downtown city. They also have a rv wash on the corner, and air for your tires. One side of the rv park has long-term tenets and the other side has overnighters. Long term tenets area is very clean... the entire park is very clean. If you are looking for a quiet and clean park where you can sit outside and relax… go here. We enjoyed our stay, and would go back. If you have a dog there is ample area to walk your pet.

One of the best campgrounds I have stayed at. The park has sights to acccomidate every tpye of camper. The employees are fantastic, cheerful and very helpful. Every lot has a shade tree. All are trimmed so as not to touch your rig . Decent sized pool, with hot tub. and lawn game area. The park is just a couple miles from the heart of Salt Lake City (Temple Square). A light rail system runs directly in front of the park, for those who want to use it for local transportation. The park has teamed up with a local tour company that will come to the KOA parking lot to pick you up for sightseeing trip to places like the copper mine, dogwood canyon, the Great Salt lake and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Loved this park! the only thing is the restrooms could use a little maintenance. The toilet I used rocked when sat on. The park had nice grass between the sites and despite being in the city got real quite at night.

We stayed here 2 nights everything was excellent, good wifi strength, nice paved parking sites, small grass area with picnic table, walking through the park was a delight with the trees, a nice footpath along the river/creek, made for an enjoyable daylight walk. Restrooms/showers were exceptionally clean, well-attended to. Staff at check-in was really friendly/helpful. The light rail is super convenient they run every 20 minutes and 2.50 for a one-way, going downtown was a breeze. The KOA is located in an older section of SLC, but their security patrols the grounds, giving you the comfort of safety and attentiveness. We were in a 24”motorhome, easy in/out, we had large 5th wheels on either side and still had ample room as did they. This park is highly recommended, the light rail system goes to the terminal at Salt Lake International, as to all of the more important areas that you would like to go, all without parking hassles and fees Depending on your RV, you will not hear any traffic/train noise, we could hear the trains about a 1/4 mile away but it was not an issue for us you could barely hear them. This park is convenient to everything, centrally located.

This was our first stay at this facility. It was easy to find as we arrived off I-15 and easy to get onto I-80 when we departed. The facility was very large with many long term pads. Picnic tables were provided at each site. We used the laundry area and it was clean, 14 top load washers and 9 front load dryers. There were many trees and most pads had shade. Pad site was long enough for our 33 ft fifth wheel and crew cab dis-connected. We would stay again!

One of the best we have stayed at. Urban setting but with all the trees and shade a country feel. Nice level pads with lots of room. Great price for what you get.

We stayed here 4 nights everything was excellent, good wifi strength, nice paved parking sites, small grass area with picnic table, snowed the first day, so were confined indoors, however, walking through the park was a delight with the trees, a nice footpath along the river/creek, made for an enjoyable daylight walk. Restrooms/showers were exceptionally clean, well attended to. Staff at check-in was really friendly/helpful. The light rail is super convenient, even though we had our tow car, going downtown was a breeze, with frequent trams, the price is right too. We took the tram all the way down to South Towne Centre, fast, clean, safe. We came back in the night/dusk hours. The KOA is located in an older section of SLC, but their security patrols the grounds, giving you the comfort of safety and attentiveness. We were in a 40' motorhome with tow, easy in/out, ample room for I would say even the larger 5th wheels we watched come/go during our stay, without problems. This park is highly recommended, the light rail system goes to the terminal at Salt Lake International, as to all of the more important areas that you would like to go, all without parking hassles and fees Not a lot of space between each RV, but "spacey" enough so you don't feel "jammed" in. When we checked in, the hostess at the front desk, said if we didn't like out space assigned, come back for a different one!! What a change, rarely is this offered. Depending on your RV, you will not hear any traffic/train noise, we were unaware of the trains about a 1/4 mile away, more/less, until we walked over to the light rail to take it downtown to Temple Square. This park is convenient to everything, centrally located.

A little pricey on the daily rate but the weekly and monthly are good deals. Nice park overall, good location within a few blocks of downtown. Light rail (not noisy) station directly across the street, if you don't want to drive. Park is overall good condition. Don't know about the showers/restrooms because I don't use them at any campgrounds. I would stay here again

Bathrooms are open bay and dirty. There are 3 showers, two toilets, and 3 sinks. Pull in wide sites with uneven gravel pads. Water, elect, and sewer connections need updating. Good reception area. Staff was courteous and friendly. Park is in poor shape be prepared for uneven roads to your site. Lots of train noise at all hours night and day. Lots of people coming and going at all hours of the night. Lots of standing water after a rain. A very old camp
