We stayed here 4 nights everything was excellent, good wifi strength, nice paved parking sites, small grass area with picnic table, snowed the first day, so were confined indoors, however, walking through the park was a delight with the trees, a nice footpath along the river/creek, made for an enjoyable daylight walk.
Restrooms/showers were exceptionally clean, well attended to. Staff at check-in was really friendly/helpful.
The light rail is super convenient, even though we had our tow car, going downtown was a breeze, with frequent trams, the price is right too. We took the tram all the way down to South Towne Centre, fast, clean, safe. We came back in the night/dusk hours.
The KOA is located in an older section of SLC, but their security patrols the grounds, giving you the comfort of safety and attentiveness.
We were in a 40' motorhome with tow, easy in/out, ample room for I would say even the larger 5th wheels we watched come/go during our stay, without problems.
This park is highly recommended, the light rail system goes to the terminal at Salt Lake International, as to all of the more important areas that you would like to go, all without parking hassles and fees
Not a lot of space between each RV, but "spacey" enough so you don't feel "jammed" in. When we checked in, the hostess at the front desk, said if we didn't like out space assigned, come back for a different one!! What a change, rarely is this offered.
Depending on your RV, you will not hear any traffic/train noise, we were unaware of the trains about a 1/4 mile away, more/less, until we walked over to the light rail to take it downtown to Temple Square.
This park is convenient to everything, centrally located.
