First, the good stuff. Excellent staff, well equipped and well maintained park. Good wifi, at least at our location. Bathhouse and laundry is a bit of a walk, but super clean and functional. Fenced dog walk area. Lots of amenities for families with kids. Now the less than good stuff. The entrance to the park is on a hill with insane traffic at almost all hours. You take your life in your hands trying to get on the highway, or off of it. The layout of the park is haphazard, which was obviously done to maximize the number of available sites to rent. but I could see little rhyme or reason to the traffic flow inside the park. There are plenty of both big and small sites and some are much easier to access than others. And lastly, unlike other parks in the Durango area, almost none of the sites I saw took advantage of the views. We had a site which was a stones throw from the highway with constant noise. So some good and some not so good details. Overall, the good outweighs the bad, but be aware.

Thank you kindly for your review of our lovely Oasis BBarnezz...So glad you enjoyed our amazing amenities, staff, and cleanliness.....The entrance to our park--highway 160--used to be a 2-lane highway. Because of the popularity of Durango and surrounding areas it has gotten very busy...we do not have control over this...Our sweet park has been around since the 60s and was one of the first RV parks in the US....The layout is indicative of the natural landscape of the Southwestern Colorado area. Forgive any inconvenience. Our staff is always happy to help our guests with anything....If any guests needs help with trash removal we would gladly help with that.... and any issue that arrises...we love helping our fellow travelers....There are many fabulous views in our park, many guests have commented on this and pictures are posted on other review sites....again, we are happy to show guests this beautiful feature of our Oasis......It's and honor to show our sweet humble abode Oasis to everyone.....It was our pleasure serving y'all....and we wish you a good journey wherever the road takes you--may it be safe and happy.....

Great park. Can't say enough about this park. Pad level. Plenty of space between the rvs Good Wi-Fi and cable We'll maintained. Laundry (2 of them) clean and fair prices. Staff was great and helpful. We had ordered a mattress and had it delivered there. Checked in and told them I would come back to pick it up. Not only did they deliver it, they helped me put it in our rv. Will stay again.

Traveling full-time in a 42-foot coach we have stayed in over 400 RV Parks, we stayed here seven nights. (1) Clean, quiet and well-maintained park with great amenities is what you will find here along with a very friendly staff. (2) We live in the age of WIFI technology and there is nothing to stop any RV Park across this country from investing in doing WIFI properly. For some users such as ourselves, WIFI is an important feature and was one of the reasons for our stay here. We were told both by email and phone that each site had a good wifi signal. The wifi in and around our site was just about non-existent. We were in direct sight of two wifi towers, but still couldn't get a decent connection, even at 5am. Other guests we spoke with also had non-existent wifi! We know enough not to count on a good signal over the weekends, but during the weekday there is no excuse. We even had the WIFI-Ranger on our roof with a direct-line-of-sight to their wifi source. (3) Level pads, big coaches need paved or thick gravel pads that are level. We give this park a 5-star rating for having level gravel sites. (4) Maneuverability, some parks have very narrow roads which make backing up and turning very difficult, we found this park to have plenty of room to maneuver. (5) Dust, some parks are so dusty that even after short stays your unit needs a bath, this place is very dusty compared to many other parks, no grass here. (6) Satellite, as you know satellite reception is very hard to receive when you have large trees. If you stay away from the sites with the tall trees to the south you will receive reception. (7) Phone Service, we have AT&T which worked great here. (8) Dog play and potty, plenty of room to walk your dog here, plus there are two fenced-in dog runs. The Bad.. We had a pull-thru site but could not attach our tow car until after we pulled out. Our site was very long but there was not enough room to pull out of our site without having to back up. Maneuverability with a smaller coach and tow car might be possible.

I would give this campground a 5 if there was a view or river. Very well kept campground and a great site! Staff was very attentive.
