Easy email call to setup reservation - wish it was all on a website but i guess they have a reason for emails. Great quick response when i needed to edit the reservation. Arrived to find clean spot, very clean bathrooms and showers, quiet environment. Right off the interstate so no hard backroad directions needed. Road noise minimal. Will stop in again for sure!

Thank you! We are working on setting up a system whereby the guest can go ahead and reserve and pay in one transaction. We're just slow to get it going ... stand-by!

This is a very nice park and very convenient for travelers. Big rig friendly, and their checkin process went very smoothly. When we arrived, we were greeted and asked our name, the gentleman checked the board and showed us to our sight. After we hooked up, I went to pay and sign in. When I made the reservation online, the first thing I checked was their pet policy. I had to go to their blog to find it, and no where does it specify they do not allow German Shepherds. They do specify some breeds, and their blog links to an article about 15 breeds no one wants to insure, but that still does not say they don't allow them. When I received a confirmation email the next day, it also did not specify them. It says: "Animals must be kept on a leash at all times and may not be left unattended at campsite. Animals may not be tethered to utility fixtures, picnic tables, trees or fences this is illegal in Georgia. Dogs can run free in the fenced in dog run with your supervision. Animal waste must be picked up by the pet owner. Certain breeds of dogs are not allowed to stay at our park due to our insurance restrictions. These include Breeds collectively known as Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, Presa Canarios, Chow Chows, Wolf-hybrids, Cane Corsos, Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies, Doberman Pinschers and Akitas. " So, I was a little surprised when the lady that checked us in stated that our dogs were not allowed due to their insurance. However she stated that since we were already set up, and it was only one night, then she would let us stay. As it was late afternoon when we arrived, all we wanted was a place to sleep, and take the dogs for a walk. We were not even outside, even though it was a beautiful night. One of our dogs is special needs, so we keep him inside as much as possible when we travel. Honestly, the pet policy is the FIRST thing I look at when I search for RV parks and this is the first time I have seen this happen. Most other parks I have been too have it spelled out clearly on their website. i do think this park is very nice though and would love to stay here again, but it will have to be after our dogs are no longer with us. And I will recommend it to my friends/family who travel in RV's.

I am so sorry that our dog policy was confusing for you. I will go back and personally work harder to make it more clear. Please try us again - we do allow almost all breeds of dogs in the park and we even offer them a very large fenced in dog park to run free. - (Owner)

We spent two nights while in transit from Florida to NC. We enjoyed a very good RV site and found the staff at this resort outstanding. They were very friendly and extremely helpful. One example: I had both propane tanks in my truck to take out for refilling. An employee who lived nearby came by and offered to go and fill my tanks right then so we won’t be without propane. This was well after closing time. There were several other instances I could have used. With I-75 about a quarter mile to the west, and another busy road to the south, unfortunately there was a fair amount of traffic noise. But the staff made such a difference, I would not hesitate staying with them again!

We stopped here on our way to Florida. We ended up getting here late, but the staff had everything set up for us. The grounds are well organized and decorated with flowers, fountains and bird feeders/houses. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The bathrooms were bright and also very clean. They have a pool, a fenced in dog run and dog wash, laundry room, camp store with the café, a clubhouse, and a community room with games and TV. They offer horseshoes and other outdoor games with more activities, like a hiking trail, in the works. We enjoyed this campground so much, we stayed on our return trip and plan to come back to stay a few days and explore the Perry/Macon, GA area.

Overall, the park was very convenient just off 1-75 (0.2 miles) though nothing at the exit to speak of. The park was clean/well-maintained and the site was level with full hook ups easily accessible (site 53 next to the bath house). Had a nice dog run as well as a dog walk area. Had limited interaction with the property manager but was pleasant when it happened. Would definitely stay here again it we are passing through.

Thanks for the review! We are out in the country - it's just us and the Shell station at our exit, so bring food (or get a Hunts Brothers Pizza from the Shell station). We are only about 9 miles south of the city of Perry where you can find just about anything you might need.

We were only staying one night but were greeted by a super friendly guy. Our site was right next to one bathroom but he said that one wasn't remodeled yet and we should use the other one to shower. It was on the other end of camp and we never got to see it. The one near us was definitely in need of a maker over. I would give the overall rating a higher number if it wasn't so close to I75 and GA26. We could hear trucks all night long. It wasn't peaceful. We had the AC on to muffle the outside sound.

I'm so sorry that you didn't have a good stay with us. We are close to the highway, which is very convenient, but the tradeoff is that it does have some road noise. There is a buffer of trees at that end of the park which helps. Also, yes, we will be renovating the other showerhouse at some point ... it's all a labor of love and a small family-owned place so we can really only do one project at a time - as budget and time allows. Hopefully within the next 6-12 months.

Overnighted here last week. Clean. Well maintained. Golf cart met us at entry and expertly guided us to our site and had us parked in a few minutes. So nice after a day on the road. Great stop for a one night stay.

Twin Oaks is an easy access park right off I-75. We stayed for an overnight on our northbound trip from Florida. We have a Newell RV and it requires big rig access. I called to verify the parks layout would allow us to arrive and depart without incident and they knew their facility very well. We stayed in slip #4, no issues with tree branches, and our satellite was able to pick up a signal. The road out allowed our rig to turn safely.

Thanks for the endorsement. We do get some big rigs in the park but there has really only been one that we decided really didn't fit - and it was essentially a tractor-trailer RV - crazy big! We try to keep our sites clear and keep the trees limbed up so that all the beautiful rigs our guests bring in, find it safe and easy to get right back on the road.

Nice quiet shady park, we just discovered it on our way home to MN from staying the winter in Okeechobee Florida. All the facilities were closed because of the Chinese virus, but we live in our camper for 4 months and usually don't use the showers etc anyway on the way down and back. We will definitely stay here again, it is the first night of our 4 day travel, just the amount of miles we usually travel each day anyway. You will love this nice park!!

We travel from Nashville to Daytona Beach twice yearly. Twin Oaks is approximately half-way. We always stay at Twin Oaks on the to Daytona and the return trip to Nashville. The park is extreme clean, the staff is courteous and helpful and the sites are more than adequate to accommodate our 41 ft. fifth wheel and tow vehicle. As stated in previous reviews, the park is constantly undergoing upgrades and improvements. One recent upgrade is a large fenced dog park l When we leave Twin Oaks, we always look forward to our return visit.

Twin Oaks RV Park, Elko (Perry) GA A nice, clean and well maintained park. New owners seem to be making improvements including 2 new bath houses with instant hot water - never run out. Seasonal pool, large hot tub, community room, living room with big screen satellite TV, comfy sofas, Large selection of books and games, and two dining-type tables to play on. Laundry was clean and is open 24/7 ($2.00 per load). There is also a clubhouse with full kitchen and grill. There are 2 horseshoe pits and corn hole set. There are 64 FHU sites, most with 50amp. 35 are pull-thru, the back-ins are more shady and have woods behind them. The sites are large enough, and have picnic tables (some with shade umbrellas), on concrete or paver patio pads. There are grass strips in front and behind the patios. Sites either have a fire ring, or they will provide one. Our site was level and long enough for our rig and toad. The sites and interior roads are gravel/dirt and in good condition. They do not have cable, but got OTA stations from Macon. They have WiFi, and quite a few connections, but the WiFi was pretty much useless - so slow! The other negative is that since it is so close to I-75, there is a lot of traffic noise. We still slept well with windows closed and fan on in RV. We will definitely stay there again! $40.00 but offer Good Sam, Passport America discounts.

Very pleased with the over all stay here. Many shady, level sites. Very clean restrooms. Nice outside game area and pool. A little away from town if you need to get out. Definitely would stay again. Probably would give it a 5 star overall if it weren't for the dirt/sand getting dragged in from the site.

Our second visit. Located near Perry, GA. The current owners have been there about 5-6 years and have made many improvements during that time. Very clean and attractive. Some long-term residents but nothing to indicate which are short or long-term as all sites are equally attractive. Restrooms are being remodeled as is the Clubhouse. The open restroom was very clean and attractive. Pool was not open but the hot tub was, although we did not try it. Laundry facility is very clean and well-cared for. Speed limit is strictly enforced. Within a few miles is an Amish bakery and buffet restaurant. Ask at the office for directions. The food and bakery items are fantastic! Near the highway but not much road noise. We will return so we can explore Perry some more.

Stayed 2 nights. FMCA was having their rally in town, so a vast number of large A's were in the park, and we drive a small 24ft, but we still felt quite comfortable. The site was roomy. The dog park was fenced and had seating, water and shade...there was also another shaded designated dog walk. The staff was very pleasant, and the park was full of yard decor, flowers, etc. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

I don't often write reviews for RV Parks that are stopovers, which this was for us, but it is noteworthy that yes..,it is on a major highway and there is some highway noise...yes, it is smaller, and no, you probably wouldn't want to spend your entire vacation here, BUT, the owners are SO NICE and they've taken such good care of their little RV Park. It is cute as a button, everything worked well, we had a patio, it was flat YAY and we were able to park our large diesel pusher with the car still attached in a pull thru. I would definitely recommend this Campground and we will definitely stay here again. The pool was closed for the season, but they are keeping the hot tub open and super clean. We didn't use most of the other facilities because we didn't need them. My husband hung out in the lounge and drank coffee and and watched the news this morning while I slept in. He said it was really nice. It's clean and nice and the few long term workers staying here were nice and are taking great care of their sites. It's a refreshing little stop. We've been to other large "vacation" campgrounds with high ratings that were undeserving and pretty awful. This was such a pleasant surprise and super convenient! Don't be afraid to stop here. It's really nice!! It exceeded our expectations by a lot!! It needs a higher rating.

Due to terrible traffic getting through Atlanta, we arrived at the camp after dark. We did not have a reservation, and the place looked very full. We were greeted by one of the owners, who went out of his way to make sure we got a spot for the night. The next day we spoke with some other people who worked there who were incredibly kind and helpful in every way. We will make sure to stop there whenever we are in Georgia.
