This was a great state park only a few miles off of I-10 near Junction, TX. No sewer, but water and electrical at the site with a dump station on the way out. A great surprise was that mountain biking was allowed on all trails. Quiet and dark at night, just as a state park should be!

We did not use the rest room or showers. The bird blinds were great. The space of the campsite was excellent about three to four times the size of a commercial RV Park. The Kayaking is good but had to port kayaks at three locations going back up stream. The town of Junction, TX is 5 miles away and kayaking at the county park was the best kayaking we had. The park is a certified night sky park but weather kept us under cloud cover at night. The park is quiet and well maintained. I would suggest... Read More
