I had a wonderful 2 night stay here. Sites are mostly shaded, comfortably spaced, baths and laundry are super clean, staff is excellent, wifi (like all rv parks) could be stronger and faster, but all in all a nice place to stopover.

The staff when we checked in was really nice and helpful. The bathroom/shower was very clean. The town was quaint and nice. We only stayed overnight, but sure was pretty there

We enjoyed our stay at Highlands RV Park. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We were having issues with our new trailer and the staff put in a lot of time and effort helping us to resolve it. The scenery was beautiful and the park was well maintained. We will definitely be staying here again.

We selected this park based on the reviews of others. Upon arrival we were given a map of the park, but no written or verbal guidelines/rules. First we were told that due to Covid the restrooms and showers were closed. We are on a monthlong journey and have not seen that at any other park. When I went to use the laundry I was told I had to make an appt even though there were many washers and dryers and the one person in there doing laundry was wearing a mask. We have a small convertible we... Read More

We have a small convertible we tow and were using some water to wash it and were stopped and told not to do that, turn off the water immediately. We have been to dozens of RV parks and it is customary to preclude rvers from washing their rigs, I completely understand, however this just seemed petty. Hopefully this is specific enough for those of you reading. Bishop was wonderful, however we will never stay here again.

I love this RV park and have stayed here several times. Yes many of the reviews are accurate about the slabs being cracked, narrow spaces and multiple permanent residents. However, I have found that the permanent residents are extremely pleasant and friendly and the overall access to all locations is superb. I is conveniently located at the north end of town within a mile or two to most restaurants and shopping areas. The staff is always been pleasant and helpful and yes, they do have a life outside... I rated this park fairly when you compare it to your 10/10/10 rated RV parks in Good Sam. I have and always will stay at Highlands RV Park as have many

One night. Just off the highway but no marked noise concerns. High level of long term occupancy. Concrete pads cracked and edges chipped, great dog area. Good recycling options. Best was helpful staff and clean heated bathroom for morning shower. Worst was bathrooms closed for cleaning 10-11am, but it did get us on the road earlier.

We only stayed one night, passing thru. Site was fairly level, concrete, and narrow. I didn't like it at first because the narrow sites and abundance of permanent residents. But, after walking around it, and the town, I loved this place. I wanted to move there. Liked their dog walk area with the duck pond and creek. The antique stores next door with their goods out all night say it all for this city. Hope the city never changes.

Great Campground for peace and quiet. Close to the town and all the fishing spots and well taken care of.

We have been staying here for the last several years! We love it. The staff is very accommodating at the drop of the hat, very friendly staff as well. Restrooms have showers that are always well maintained and the water pressure is awesome! It's quiet at night, most people come in and go are very respectful, all dogs are on a leash and there is an area for them to do there business as well. Close to downtown Bishop and a short drive to Mammoth!

This RV Park advertises WIFI throughout the park. This is not true. If you have an iPhone it works, Android does not hook up. The manager's work around was less than helpful. Sites are tight, old, and smell of dog droppings. Cement is broken, pavement is cracked. Not up to snuff.

This place should change its name to Highland RV Park and Truckstop. Commercial "big rigs" arriving at all hours of the night. Cramped spaces with less than eight feet between edge of site to the next. No wi-fi, and no cable tv; even with the black box provided. Now, I know why it's free. Forget about quiet hours. Multiple activities ongoing throughout the night. Forget about on site staff support after 5PM, or before 8AM. Do not waste your time and money here. I'm shocked this is "Truckstop"... Read More

Ok Park. Nicely kept and freshly paved. Sites are tight and tighter still roads. We camped here on a 45' Class A and it was difficult to maneuver. There is no dog run although there is a grassy area in the front of the park dedicated to "dog walking". The park is right off of 395 with plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, etc... Close to the Sierra Nevada Mountains, lakes and about 1.5 hours from Death Valley. No pool or hot tub and not much to do within the park. If you are looking for a basic... Read More

Reservation process was smooth, although they only take phone reservations; and I didn't receive any type of email confirmation. Check-in was smooth, even though we were early in the day; and the park is easy to find; right off the main road. The sites are very narrow, and it took some maneuvering to get our fifth wheel positioned so we could open both slides. Another 4 to 6 feet would have been nice. The park is extremely well maintained, very neat and clean and all utilities worked find including good wi-fi. Our only dissatisfaction was how narrow the sites are, and some of the sites had nice big trees; but they made it even tougher to get into them. Roads in the park were easy to navigate. Also, even though it is close to the main road, we didn't hear any road noise. Restrooms were very well maintained, always clean. If you are in the area, make sure and go to Devil's Postpile National Monument and to the Ancient Bristlecone Forest; both are worth visiting. We would stay here again. We were there in a 37' fifth wheel.

Great location right off of hwy 395 as you come through Bishop. Very nice restrooms and facilities. Internet is spotty but better than some places. No game/rec room, playground, or grass. Nice and quiet.
