We stayed here twice in a big rig. We love the place. It’s very basic but clean, quiet, well-maintained, and lovely setting next to the North Llano River. Staff is super helpful and friendly. We highly recommend it and would stay here again without hesitation.

Stayed one night as we traveled down I10. Easy in and out of the park. Our site was level. We did not use the restrooms or other facilities, so can't comment on those. The staff was friendly and courteous. Host escorted us to the site and helped direct us in.
We'll stay here again the next time we're headed that way.

It is always a great stop on our travels up and down I-10. It is right off the interstate, yet remains Nice & quiet. Staff is about as friendly as you could ever hope a staff would be.

Appeal Rating Great little small town park. Easy access off I-10. Pull thru sites. Sits on the North Llano River.. Great little places to eat.Park is well kept and staff is always working to keep it that way. Tom and Teresa are the managers and nice people. Park is pet friendly. Park can accommodate the bigger rigs. Has showers and laundry room. Play ground for kids. This is my second time at park.

Stayed overnight. Staff was great. Location of park was pleasant along Llano River. Sites were level with room between units and picnic tables some had bricked patios and chairs. Pool didn’t look in good shape. Cable was fuzzy except for channel 2 we had major storm with hail during night which put cable out. We could not receive signal for our phones or own hot spot with Verizon (dead zone?). There were restaurants and fuel stations in area and easy I 10 access. Would not have problem staying there again.

Appeal Rating Great park. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. We're new to RVing and the girl in the office was very helpful in giving us an easy spot. They even led us to our site and helped us get hooked up. A little run down as far as the buildings, but the restrooms were very clean and we were able to do laundry as well which was really convenient. This will be my first choice when I come back through Junction.

We knew the area had been recently hit with floods, but thought it would still be okay. The staff are very nice and willing to help. The campsite smelled of animal waste, could have been the folks next door and their two dogs kept on very long leashes that would reach our spot. Cable was non-functioning, and wi-fi basically unusable. We inquired and were told the cable had been down for over a week and they were working on it. We never saw anyone working on the cable. Very disappointing to pay for ammenities that are not available and weren't when we checked in. Maybe the nightly rate should be adjusted if things are not available at the time of check in. I wish them luck, could be a very nice place.

Appeal Rating Nice clean & quiet campground with all services. All grass/gravel so it can be a bit dusty. On the bank of the Llano river, and some folks seem to be here for at least a few days. We chose it because is is a good stopover along I-10. I would stay here again, and recommend it to a friend.

Easy reservations same morning. Easy to find. Easy access. Registration pleasant and repeatedly thanked for military service. Ground guide to site and offered to help hook up. Long compacted gravel pull through required minimal leveling. Quiet, no road noise. Easy access to bank of river. WiFi fast.

Stayed only one night on our way west. Found the people working in the office to be extremely friendly and helpful. Gave us a great recommendation for dinner. They are now our go-to stopping point on our way west.

Conveniently located. Dirt road and sites. Had cable but very limited. Had pet area but was poorly maintained. Lots of deer droppings around. Nothing special. Only stayed 1 night but would probably not stop here again.

Friendly greeting on arrival at this nice park just a hop, skip and jump south of I-10; but far enough away that the highway noise was not a problem. Easy in and out with nice lots and lots of them had little covered (shade) arbors with chairs or swings, grills, and all hookups were convenient to the RV. We were here one night in November as we traveled west to California and liked it so well that we stopped in December on our way back home to Harlingen, TX. If passing that way again we will definitely stop there again.

Long pull through for my 40 foot fiver. Had all the bells and whistles. Super friendly staff who provide escort to your assigned space. Gave me a Veterans discount and thanked me for my service. Highly recommend this campground. Didn't use restrooms.

Appeal Rating My wife and I have stayed here several times. We spend the first night, and sometimes the last night, on every trip we make into the southern part of Texas. Most of the sites are pull-through, and are leveled. There appears to be a sewer connection at each site. They have a dedicated pet rest area in a corner of the park.
The only downside to the appearance is the usual western Texas dry climate. They try with several trees and dress up the sites with some shaded tables, but West Texas is what it is! Where we live is even worse!
The owners are fantastic. They are friendly and helpful. They clean the park every day, and keep it well maintained.

Appeal Rating We had the most fabulous time in Junction, TX. The people (young couple) who ran the place were super nice and gave us so many good ideas of places to go and where to eat ...... they were amazing. We had a fabulous campsite with patio and bbq along with fire pit. The deer were fed so they came right down into the park. The camp is right along the river but yet right in town. You can walk down to the best bbq place I have ever eatan at ..... Lum's. Gotta go there because the brisket is unbelievable. We went to Sonora Caverns on the day trip and it was really great. If you plan on going to the only bar in town ..... the Riverside .... it is fabulous, but set ups only in this part of Texas. We had fun with the locals.

Appeal Rating This Park is special to my wife and I because it is our Winter home in Texas. But more than that, it is a great park.
Visually the park is obviously a former KOA, but better than that now.
The park is just within the City of Junction on the Junction side of the North Llano River bridge, about a 1/4mi from I-10.
The park is bordered by the North Llano River on one side. A great place for fishing, or small boating, or just a walk along the river. The park has green lawns and many mature trees for shade. There are a variety of sites, all full hook up, and pull through, but they vary in length. The big-rig sites have a stone patio, pergola, and furniture, all sites have a grill, fire ring, and picnic table. Sites and roads are gravel and drain very quickly. Diesel pushers should probably make a reservation. There always seems to be space for smaller rv's.
There is wi-fi and cable. The bathrooms are typical KOA but very serviceable. Showers are clean and hot. The bathrooms are cleaned every day and are always tidy.
Check in at the office which is also is a small store with rv necessities.
The office is fun to visit just to sit and talk. The camp is managed by resident managers and workkampers. They are all great people who want nothing more than to make sure you have what you need. They all maintain the park every day, even to leveling the sites between visitors.
The park is coded gate controlled. If you arrive late, go to the marked overflow area where there is power only.
There are just a few permanents and their sites are always neat. This tends to be a pass through park for people going some where else. Too bad, Junction is a very nice town and this park is a good place to enjoy it from. We will be back.
