This is going to be an amazing park when it grows up. Access from the street was down a well-maintained gravel drive. It is far enough from the highways to be quiet. The site we stayed on was on the narrow side our awning wound up in a tree each day. Which was basically OK, since the tree was providing important shade to our neighbor during the 100+ temperatures we were having. We had a good line of site for our antenna. I quite liked the recycled stadium turf it kept the sand under control much better than natural grass would have.

This campground has only been open for four months and is a Good Sam Park. There is no office, no bathrooms, no laundry. Checkin was done meeting a lady in a golfcart who drove us to a site. Appearance is a large area where a bulldozer has gone in, dug sites, put down gravel, installed utilities, but left the sand piled up on sides of sites. Our site was so narrow we couldn’t even walk around the coach with the slides out without having to step into the sand piled up. Good Sam should be ashamed... Read More

There is obviously a need for a campground in this area as most of their 100 sites were full and they said they were in the process of opening 50 more. We won’t go back.
