We stayed 12/30/18 to 1/12/19. Overall we were pleased with the service provided and would return in the future. We made our reservation for a "standard" site five months prior to arrival. After our check in at the desk and prior to pulling into the park, our escort determined our coach would not fit on the site "they" had assigned us back in Aug. It is now 5 pm the day before New Year's eve, the property is full, and we are at the gate after traveling 8 hrs! The Assistant Mgr. Leeann stepped in and assured us they knew they had made a mistake and she would make things right. Mistakes happen - we get it! However, the staff owned their mistake, remained very polite, and provided us with the best solution they could offer. In less than 20 min we were parked in a value site - not the type of site we had reserved - but a site that would accommodate our coach. We were assured we would be moved and upgraded to a premium site - as soon as possible - even though we had reserved a standard site. We had to stay in a value site for four nights and then we moved to a premium site for the rest of our stay. Even though we had to move our coach, it was worth it! The second site was a very spacious premium site near the bay, pool area, and restaurant. Site had a concrete patio, updated shore power pedestal with excellent water pressure and we were not stacked up next to our neighbor's coaches. The sunset on their beach is fantastic. The Lobster Crawl restaurant was great as was their food. The restaurant & bar is reasonably priced and hosts a very welcoming and polite staff. The pool and hot tubs were nice and well maintained. The laundry facility was clean and everything worked. Grounds were in great shape and they continue to make improvements.

We had a nice view of the bay, and a short walk to the pool, spa restaurant/bar, where you can watch spectacular sunsets. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the restaurant/bar, the food is excellent and they have great entertainment, service is good too! That was really the only gripe I had and it's not really a deal breaker for me because we have a mobile hotspot. The pool is very nice and clean, as well as the hot tubs, also I love the sandy beach area between the pool and restaurant with satellite radio playing and plenty of lounge chairs! We have stayed here before and will return, overall an excellent rv resort, with plenty to do right there and it's right in the middle of the keys, love it there!!

This is an old KOA that had some upgrades some time ago, but has deteriorated since. We had a good stay primarily because the staff is great and the park was less than half full--would not have been good if it were full. The bar/restaurant was exceptionally good.
