Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-In Procedure - Check-In: 1:00 PM - Check out: 11:00 a.m. unless late check out has been arranged. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Quiet Time - Quiet time is 10 pm - 7 am Speed Limit - Speed Limit is 5 mph or less throughout the park. Damages Policy - All guests & visitors use park facilities at their own risk. - Any damages made to the property by the customer, pets, or their guests will be held responsible with a fee based on the damage. - This includes but is not limited to sites, picnic tables, fire pits, community areas, etc. Video / Camera Surveillance Policy - Property and Buildings are monitored. - Customer grants to Mountain River Family Campground, its representatives, and employees the right to take photographs of me and my property in connection with the above-identified subject. - Customer authorizes Mountain River Family Campground, its assigns, and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. - I agree that Mountain River Family Campground may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content. Children Policy - Parents/caregivers are responsible for the appropriate behavior of their children. - Be aware of where your children are and what they are doing. - Children MUST be supervised in the bathhouse, game room, laundry room, and playground. - Parent/guardian will be held financially liable for damages caused by their children. - Children under 16 must return to their own site by 10:00 pm. Prohibited - Generators, Tents, and Any type of camper without hookups. - Overnight use of outside lighting as a consideration for other campers. - Disorderly Behavior, Walking through other peoples’ sites, Oil Changes and Lubes, Clotheslines, Hot Grills on Picnic Tables, Any permanent connections, Foundations, Porches, and Roofs shall NOT be constructed. - Do not cover the grass with mats, carpet, etc. - No ropes or chains tied to utilities, trees, or signs. - Do not put nails in trees. - No liquid waste of any kind may be dumped on the ground or in dumpsters. Fireworks Policy - Fireworks are prohibited. Vehicle and Trailer Policy - All campers/vehicles must be clean & in good repair or, you will be asked to leave with no refund. - You are permitted one RV and one Vehicle per assigned site. - There will be a $5 charge per day, per extra vehicle. - Vehicles and trailers that do not fit completely on your site must be parked in the overflow parking area. - Do not park on a concrete pad, another site, or in the road. - No washing of RVs or vehicles allowed. Wifi Policy - WIFI is available throughout the park but not guaranteed. Subleasing Policy - NO SUBLEASING Owners must accompany guests at all times. Micromobility Policy - BICYCLE, ROLLERBLADES, SKATEBOARDS, SCOOTERS, MOTORCYCLES: Ride only on roadways and do not ride after dusk unless well-lit. - Do not park or ride them on grass, playground, or through landscaping. Guest Policy - Campers are responsible for the conduct of guests at their site. - If your guest decides to stay the night, please come by the office to register them and pay the extra person fee of $5 per night. Campfire Policy - CAMPFIRES are only approved to be built in designated campfire rings and must be extinguished before retiring. - DO NOT LEAVE THE CAMPFIRE UNATTENDED. - We have firewood available for purchase at the office. - Use local firewood! The beauty and productivity of North Carolina's forests is threatened by non-native plants, animals and diseases that can make it to the state in many ways. - One common but often overlooked way that these invasive species make it into the state's parks, forests, and private campgrounds is through the movement of firewood. - Please respect our great forests and buy/burn locally. - We all have to work together to protect them or they will not be here for future generations to enjoy. Lake Policy - NO swimming in the lake. - Fishing is catch & release only. Pets Policy - PETS must be kept on a leash, in a contained area at your site, under voice command or e-collar at all times. - Please clean up after your pet. - Campers assume any liability incurred because of their pets and may be asked to leave if an animal is aggressive or a disturbance. - Aggressive animals will NOT be tolerated. Trash Policy - DO NOT dispose of cigarette butts, drink cans, drink bottles, food, or trash of any kind in fire rings. Alcohol Policy - Please be responsible for alcoholic beverages. - If you are away from your campsite, alcoholic beverages must be in a can or plastic/metal cup. - Please put a koozie on your glass bottles. - Drunkenness will NOT be tolerated. Campground Disclaimer - All policies and rates are subject to change without notice. - Management reserves the right to refuse service, limit the length of stay, limit the number of persons or vehicles per site, and/or evict any persons or party at any time without refund. - Camping is an outdoor experience, therefore, we do not give refunds due to the whims of Mother Nature....this includes any type of inclement weather - Mountain River Family Campground is privately owned. - Mountain River Family Campground and its agents, employees, and representatives will not be responsible for and assumes no liability in the event of loss due to fire, theft, accidents, Mother Nature, or any other loss, whether it may be injury or loss of property. - Management also reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and to evict without prior notice anyone who creates a disturbance, nuisance, or deliberately breaks any of the Resort’s policies. - Eviction will be immediate and without reimbursement of any camping fees.

Refunds be given in accordance with the Cancellation Policy below: Spot2Nite booking fees are non-refundable.
