Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check-In time for RV and Tent Campsite is 4:00 p.m. (CST) - Check-In time for Lodging is 4:00 p.m. (CST) - Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. (CST). - If you intend to arrive before your check-in time, please notify our office, and we will make every effort to have your campsite available. - However, we cannot guarantee its availability until check-in. - No Late check-outs are allowed. - We ask that you honor our Check-Out time promptly to minimize hardship on our housekeeping staff and the next arriving guests. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the onsite manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Pets Policy - Pets are welcome and should be under the owner's control or leashed. - Pets are not to be left unattended or tied outside. - Make sure you keep your pet with you or at your site. - We have doggie den sites available for your pets to have off-leash time. - Please pick up after your pet. - If your dog shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers, please leave it at home. - If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior, the owner or management of the park will ask you to please find other camping accommodations. - No pets are allowed in the store, pool area, laundry/bathrooms, playgrounds, or cafe/pavilion area. - Failure to comply with any of the listed rules could result in the removal of pets from the campground. Cabins rr Lodges - Let us know that you’re bringing a pet and we’ll book you into a pet-friendly cabin or lodge, subject to availability. - We charge a $25 non-refundable cleaning deposit per pet per stay (2 Pet Limit). - Unfortunately, if your pet persuades you to sneak him or her into a non-pet cabin or lodge, you will be liable for $300 in cleaning charges. RV Sites - While there’s no charge for bringing your pet with your RV, please don’t leave your pet unattended outside or erect any type of fence or pen around your site. Speed Limit - Speed Limit is 9 ½ MPH. - Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests. - Remember, children are playing! - Be courteous by not cutting through sites. - Damage to utilities and/or property could occur, which could cause the offender to face damage charges. Quiet Hours - Quiet Time is 11 p.m.–7 a.m. Site Occupancy - Only one(1) RV or Tent is allowed per campsite. - Campsites (RV and Tent) allow for a maximum of SIX (6) persons per site. - Maximum occupancy for cabins is the maximum number of people they are rated to sleep. - Please keep your site clean and orderly at all times. Smoking - Smoking is not allowed in any buildings at Mark Twain Lake Jellystone Park™, including cabins. - If you are found to have been smoking inside one of our lodging units, cabins, or rentals, you will be assessed a one-time cleaning fee of $250. After Dark - In order to ensure all our guests’ safety after dark, please carry a flashlight with you. - No bike or scooter riding after dark. Children - Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. - Parents are responsible for the conduct and behavior of their children. Trash and Garbage - Please place all garbage at the end of your site by 4 p.m. daily, and park staff will pick it up. - We kindly ask that you don’t leave trash sitting outside overnight. - Charcoal is to be dumped in the fire ring at your site or cabin. - Trash Compactors are available to the east of the Ranger Station. Ground Disposal - Ground Disposal of any drain water (gray or black) is prohibited by State Law. - Wastewater from RVs (including sink water) must be disposed of in sewer drains. - Do not put grease down the sewer. Sewer Connections - Sewer Connections are required by State Law and must have a tight seal by a sewer donut (or sewer ring) or a screw-type connector. Prohibited Items/Activities - Clotheslines are not permitted. - Do not move/remove rocks. - Fireworks - Firearms – this includes BB, Airsoft, and pellet guns) - Metal Detectors - Recreational Vehicles - this includes battery-operated vehicles such as golf carts, motor-driven cycles, bikes, or scooters. - Pleasure riding on motorcycles, ATVs, or four-wheelers is not allowed in the campground. - Seasonal guests must provide proof of insurance and obtain management approval before operating a personal golf cart on the property. - Drones - for safety purposes, we do not allow drones to be flown in our park. - We apologize for any inconvenience. - Vehicle Repairs (including oil change, etc.) of vehicles and RVs are not permitted in the park. - You may check the local listings for businesses that provide these services. Swimming Pool - Please observe the posted pool and The Water Zone rules. - The Water Zone and Pool are open Memorial Day through Labor Day. - No Lifeguard is on Duty. - Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult (18 years of age or older). - Anyone behaving in an unsafe or destructive manner will be removed from the pool area. - Only bathing suits permitted in the pool, no cotton material permitted (i.e., cut-offs, t-shirts, etc.). - No"horseplay, "jumping, diving, or running. - No climbing up slides. - No glass containers. Visitors - Your visitors are always welcome at Mark Twain Lake Jellystone Park™ as long as they register at the Main Office. - Registered guests and their visitors are expected to read and adhere to all campground guidelines. - Guidelines are presented at the time of check-in. - All your visitors must register, pay day-use fees, if applicable, and leave the campground by 10 p.m. Bookings - We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Cash. - Sorry, no checks. Deposit - You can secure your reservation with a 50% deposit today, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your stay. Minimum Reservation - During peak season, there is a two (2) night minimum reservation for all campsites. - Spring Break and holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day) require a three-night minimum reservation. Site Lock Fee - When booking your reservation, we will assign you a cabin based on the cabin type you selected. - If you want a specific cabin and it is available, you can reserve it with a $30 site lock fee. - This fee is non-refundable. Reservation Changes - There is a $10 change fee for any changes made to an existing reservation. - The Management reserves the right to refuse service, limit the length of stay and the number of persons or vehicles per site, and/or evict any person or party without refund. Disclaimer - We’ve established the following guidelines to help ensure your safety and your enjoyment while in our park, and the same applies to our other guests. - Those who choose not to observe these guidelines can be asked to leave our park without any form of refund. - The Management reserves the right to refuse service, limit the length of stay and the number of persons or vehicles per site, and/or evict any person or party without refund.

Holidays - We will return your deposit minus a $30 service charge if you cancel thirty(30) or more days before your arrival date. - We do not refund holiday deposits on cancellations made twenty-nine(29) days or less of your arrival date. - Please make sure you schedule your holiday reservations carefully. No Shows - Guests failing to contact us to cancel their reservation (within the required time, listed above) will be considered a ‘NO SHOW’. - ‘No shows’ are subject to the same cancellation policies. Refund Policy - Sorry, no refunds for early departures. - At check-in, we honor the period of time you requested for your campsite or lodging unit. - Camping is an outdoor experience, and accordingly, we do not offer refunds due to the whims of Mother Nature. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.

How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
