Welcome to the park!

To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:

Check-In Procedure - Check in at 3 pm. - Check out at 11 am on all campsites and lodging units. - Please do not arrive early, as we do not have parking for campers. - We do not offer late checkout or early drop-offs. - You will also receive a pre-arrival email a few days before your scheduled arrival date, which you can use to do the same. - To expedite the check-in process, please agree to the terms and conditions provided with your reservation confirmation prior to your check-in. - No refunds due to early departure. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Neighbors - Please be considerate of your neighbors. Quiet Time - Quiet time is from 11 PM – 8 AM. - No music, loud parties, loud talking, or any loud noises between these times. - Excessive noise, foul language, and loud or obnoxious behavior are not permitted at any time. - Anyone creating a disturbance will be asked to leave the park without a refund. Children Policy - All children must be back at their sites by 11:00 PM on non-holiday weekends and 11:30 PM on holidays. - Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at these locations. Speed Limit - Speed limit 5 MPH. Visitors and Guests - Visitors & guests must be registered at the office. - All visitors must leave the campground by 10:30 PM. Pet Policy - Only non-aggressive dogs are allowed. - All pets must be leashed at all times. - No pets are allowed in the restrooms. - There is a pet fee of $35 per pet per stay. - The pet fee applies to CABINS ONLY. - Pets are allowed on all sites and in the cabins. - Please remember to clean up after your pets and keep them leashed at all times. - Pets may not be left unattended at your campsite, in your unit, or in the park for any extended period of time. Fire Policy - No fireworks allowed. - Campfires are only allowed in the fire rings. - Wood is sold at the office. - No out-of-state firewood is allowed on the campground. Gas - LP gas is sold at the office. Fishing Policy - When fishing in the lake, the minimum size for bass is 13″ with a maximum of three (3) per site per day. Campsites - We will make every effort to reserve the site you request, but we cannot guarantee sites or cabins. - We only allow one camping unit per site. Moped - All mopeds must be registered with the DOT. Facilities and Activities - We schedule staff and plan activities based on the number of reservations. - We cannot be held responsible for weather, illness, work schedules, or other situations affecting our guests; therefore, we enforce our cancellation policy regardless of circumstances. - The guest assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoor environment, including specifically (but not exclusively) the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of swimming or boating at the - Camp-Resort and its owners, agents, and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes. - There is no lifeguard on duty, and the facility is a swim-at-your-own risk at the beach, pool, and river. Rates - Rates are subject to change without notice. Rental Units - For all cabins, you will need Linens for beds, Kitchen Utensils, Cookware, Supplies, & Personal Care Items. Party Size - Our rates are based on a group size of 2 adults and 4 kids. - Kids 3 and under are free. For each additional guest over 2 adults and 4 kids, there is a $10 per person, per night charge. Groups - Call in advance for details and to book boy/girl scout trips. Photography and Videography - By entering our property, you grant Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ at Monticello, its affiliated entities, licensees, legal representatives, and promotional partners the irrevocable right to include video, other visual portrayals, and any photography in all forms and media and in all manners, including composite, for advertising, for publication or any other lawful purpose, of all persons in your party. - You also waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including a written copy, which may be created in connection therewith. Reservations - All reservations require a 50% deposit. - The balance will be run automatically via credit card 30 days prior to your check-in date. - If you book within 30 days of your check-in date, payment in full is required at the time of booking. - Weekend reservations may not end on a Saturday. Campground Disclaimer - Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Monticello reserves the right to interpret or change all rules. - Campers who are uncooperative or violate park rules will be asked to leave with no refund. - The park assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss from any cause. - The guest assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoors environment, including specifically (but not exclusively), the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities - such as hiking, swimming, boating, and jumping pillow - at Jellystone Park Monticello, or of acts of mother nature, or COVID19 related illness and agrees that the said camping resort and it's owners, agents, and employees are not liable for injuries or property damage resulting from such causes. - In order to make your stay and the stay of others a pleasant experience, we ask that you observe the following rules. - This is a family-oriented campground, and we reserve the right to refuse groups of teens or young adults who are not properly supervised. - Entrance onto the campground property constitutes permission for the management of Monticello Jellystone Park™ in Monticello, Iowa, to photograph the visitor while on the premises and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purposes without compensation to the visitor. - Camping is an outdoor experience. - Therefore, we do not give refunds due to discomforts of nature. - The fun continues, rain or shine! - All other common-sense rules apply. - Violation of any rule or state law is grounds for dismissal from the park without a refund.

Refunds be given in accordance with the Cancellation Policy below: Spot2Nite booking fees are non-refundable.

STRICT If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a 50% refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
