To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Park Guidelines & Policies:
-While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
-It goes without saying (but we’d better say it anyway) that all federal, state and local laws must be followed on the grounds of Honey Bear By the Sea Resort. The Honey Bear By the Sea Resort and its facilities (showers, game room, laundry. etc.) is for registered guests only.
-We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. We reserve the right to make exceptions to the rules. We reserve the right to change the rules at any time without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or allow vehicles at our discretion. ( Sorry, Eddie ) All vehicles must be legally licensed, insured, and in operating order at all times.
-There will be no use of illegal drugs or firearms, BB guns (You’ll put an eye out, Ralphie!”), fireworks/firecrackers/explosives. Disorderly conduct, disruptive or vulgar behavior will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave with no refund (and no one wants to see that happen, it just spoils all the fun for everyone)
General:
-Check-out is 11:00 a.m. Late check-outs require a $15.00 fee.
-Check-in is 1:00 p.m.
-Smoking: By law, there can be no smoking or “vaping” in public buildings or within 10 feet of all entrances, exits, windows, and accessibility ramps. For fire safety and resort cleanliness, please do not drop your cigarette butts on the ground. (The Elk roam at night to smoke them, and we are trying to get them to quit. ?)
-Trash: We provide trash stations. The dumpsters are not for large items (spouses included! ?) Please, no nails or ropes in/on our beautiful trees and no hanging of clotheslines. (They can also be hazardous to sleepwalkers?) And please, no swimming in the ponds (and do not feed the crocodiles). Campfires are allowed only in our designated fire rings, which should not be moved.
-Firewood: We have a beautiful natural forest and want to keep it that way; we do not allow guests to gather kindling or firewood. But feel free to pick up any trash you happen to see.
-Trees: We do not allow anything, such as hammocks, to be attached to our trees as too many people have damaged them in the past.
-Pets: Honey Bear is pleased to host your friendly pets (aggressive dogs cannot be allowed). For the safety and comfort of everyone, pets must be leashed and supervised at all times, and pets cannot be left outdoors unattended. Please do not allow your dog to bark excessively, as this disrupts others. If we receive multiple complaints, this could result in an immediate departure from the park, without a refund. This means “NO BARKING” ( We have Duct Tape ). Leashes/Leads must be short enough to prohibit pets from entering another site or roadway. Pets (other than certified service dogs) are not allowed inside any public buildings. If your pet relieves itself ANYWHERE in the park or on your site, You must pick up the waste and dispose of it properly. A fine of $50 will be charged if you do not clean up after your pet. All pets must be current on all vaccinations and be free of communicable diseases. Failure to adhere to these policies may result in an immediate departure from the park without a refund.
-Quiet Hours: 10 pm to 8 am. (The Bear gets grumpy when his hibernation is disrupted…as do most campers ?)The use of Generators will not be allowed at any time.
-Speed Limit: For your safety and to protect children, pets, and wildlife, the speed limit in the resort is 5 mph. Drive slowly and take in the magical beauty of Honey Bear by the Sea.
-Parking: To be a good neighbor, please park only in your designated camping area and never in the roadways or other sites. Please do not drive through other sites (we booby trap them? And please have your visitors park in the visitor parking/overflow area (see the front office for location and parking pass). Unidentified (no parking permit) or improperly parked vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense. RV, auto repair, is prohibited, Except for emergencies or changing a flat tire and requires official approval.
RV / Car Washing: Washing of RV, Campers, or Vehicle is allowed for a water fee of $10.00
-Wi-Fi: We are happy to offer complimentary Wi-Fi. Please note that bandwidth is limited when the Resort is busy.
-Horseplay: We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly facility, and therefore we focus on keeping both fun and safety as our top priorities. With this in mind, please remind your children that horseplay inside the lodge area or biking/skateboarding/running in the outside corridors or near buildings is prohibited for the safety of all.

REGISTRATION POLICIES:
-Check-in/Check-Out: Check-out is at 11:00 am, and check-in is at 1:00 pm. ALL campers and visitors need to register at the office and must be able to show a photo ID, and all vehicles must obtain and display a vehicle pass at all times. Sites prices include (2) guests, (1) RV or tent, and (1) additional vehicle. Additional persons are 5.00 each Daily Additional vehicles/boats are 5.00 Daily Dump Station Fee- 10.00 peruse (for registered guests only)
