Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - For the solar eclipse event, guests can check in anytime between April 5th and April 7th. For reservations outside of the solar event, please contact us for early or late check-ins. - Check-out time for the event: Campers departing on April 9th should check out by noon. - Check-in procedure: Upon arrival, please stop at the gate or office to sign a waiver, and we will direct you to your site. - All occupants must register with the Campground check-in booth to receive a camping spot assignment. - All fees are due at booking. - Check-In: 12pm (noon) - 5 pm. - Check-Out:11am. - Please note that same-day reservations can be made online until 5 PM. - All reservations are for 4 Nights April 5-9-2024 with campers departing on April 9 by noon. - Additional nights can be made at the time of reservation for an additional fee. - Guests are welcome to stay longer for an additional fee. - Check-in any time between April 5th - April 7th. - Reservations can be transferred to another individual until March 5, 2024. Contact us to transfer the reservation. - Only Registered guests will be allowed to occupy campsites. - A $100.00 transfer fee will be required at the time of transfer. - Stay 1 night or all 4 nights of your reservation, the price of your campsite is the same. - For any exceptions or special requests, feel free to give us a call! - Feel free to give us a call if you need exceptions for bringing more people, pets, or vehicles than the online system allows. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager makes the ultimate decision for spot placement. Parking Passes - The parking passes are available for use on April 8th only, from 8 am to 5 pm. - Please note that these passes are for daily use, not overnight. - Solely for online booking purposes to book parking passes, the check-in date will be the *day you would like to use the parking pass (April 8th)* and the check-out date will be the following day. - Again, you will *not* be staying overnight. - Don't see what you are looking for? - Give us a call... we may be able to accommodate you! - Please note that when booking a parking pass, the number of people allowed is limited to the capacity of the vehicle. Tent Policy - All tent spots are primitive sites. - NO electricity or water will be available at the individual campsite. Vehicle Policy - Only 1 vehicle is permitted per registered campsite. - This includes both tent and RV sites. - Motorhomes will be allowed 1 towed vehicle. Campsite Areas - All tents, RVs, vehicles, and personal belongings must fully fit within your designated camping spot. Restrooms - There will be restrooms (porta-potties) throughout the campground. Campfire Policy - There will be no open campfires allowed within any campsites. Self-contained BBQ grills and a fire pit will be allowed. Speed Limit - The vehicle speed limit throughout the campground will be 5 mph. (This is for campers and pedestrian safety.) - Anyone driving recklessly or at excessive speeds will be asked to leave the premises. Trash Bins - Campsites must be kept clean and tidy. - There will be trash receptacles located throughout the campground. Glass Containers - No glass beverage container of any kind is permitted. - All drink containers must be paper, plastic, or aluminum. - This is for general safety to avoid broken glass. Food and Drink - Camper are allowed to bring their food, drinks, and cooler to the event. - There will be food and drink vendors available throughout the campground. - FOOD AND DRINK SALES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVED VENDOR APPLICATION. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours will be observed between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am. Bright Lights - The campground is located far enough away from town that light pollution is extremely minimal. - Many guests will enjoy the clear nights for astronomy or astrophotography. - We ask that bright lights be kept to a minimum during quiet hours. Drones - Drones NOT ALLOWED within the campground. Pet Policy - Pets will be allowed in the campground but must be on a leash. - Only friendly pets. Children Policy - Parents/Guardians are responsible for the supervision and conduct of their children at all times. Campsite Privacy - Please respect other campers by NOT walking through occupied campsites. - There will be designated walking and driving paths throughout the campground. Property Damage - Any guest who willfully or negatively destroys or harms the campground property or equipment will be held liable for said property’s repair or replacement. Conduct - No camper shall disturb the peace, make unreasonable noise, engage in violent behavior, or display/discharge a firearm or weapon. Changes - These rules can be changed or amended at any time by THE WRIGHT SPOT MOUNTAINTOP RESORT. - A list of rules will be posted in public areas of the campground. Liability - The Wright Spot Mountaintop Resort will not be held responsible for loss or damage to the camping tenant’s property due to theft, loss, fire, vandalism, or any other casualty, wild animals, or acts of God or Nature. - Camping tenants assume all risk of such loss or damage and must carry their insurance for such loss. Indemnification - Camping tenants indemnify and hold harmless The Wright Spot Mountaintop Resort, its officers, and employees from all claims, liability, and expenses, including but not limited to attorney and other professional fees, for injury to person, loss of life, or damage to property arising out of tenants exercise of his rights hereunder, except as may be caused by the gross negligence or intentional acts of The Wright Spot Mountaintop Resort or its officers and employees. Disclaimer - ANY GUEST FOUND IN VIOLATION OF THESE RULES MAY BE ASKED TO VACATE THE CAMPGROUND WITHOUT REFUND. - Policies and terms are set and enforced directly by The Wright Spot Mountain Top Resort and are subject to change as their policies are adjusted. - Please contact The Wright Spot Mountain Top Resort for more details.
Cancellation policy for The Wright Spot Mountain Top Resort
Refunds be given in accordance with the Cancellation Policy below: Spot2Nite booking fees are non-refundable.
Campground Cancellation Policy - For solar eclipse event reservations, there are no refunds. For reservations outside of the event dates, a 100% refund is available until 30 days prior to check-in. - A 50% refund is applicable 14 days prior, and within 13 days of the reservation, it becomes non-refundable. - There will be no refunds for any reason, including no-shows, late arrivals, or early departure regardless of circumstances. - There are no exceptions to this policy including illness, family emergencies, or inclement weather. - This is an astronomical event that will happen regardless of weather or other circumstances, so rescheduling is impossible. - We highly recommend travel insurance to cover your trip. - Note: All refund calculations exclude the RoverPass service fees and credit card processing, which are non-refundable. RoverPass Cancellation Policy - The platform and processing fees are non-refundable. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
