Need to know about Spicewood RV Resort
Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-in Procedure - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Quiet Hours - Quiet times are between 10 PM and 8 AM. - Please refrain from any activity that could disturb the quiet enjoyment of our park guests. Trash - Our team members will pick up trash. - Please leave your firmly bagged trash at the front of your site at 10 a.m. each day and it will be picked up. Pets - We love dogs!! However, we ask that you keep them leased and under your control at all times. - Please take a baggie with you on each walk to clean up after your babies. - A current certificate of shots is required and should be presented at our main office upon check-in. - We charge $5 per pet, per night, per reservation and we have a maximum of two (2) pets per site/rental. - Pets are not allowed in the pool area. -Barking or aggressive dogs will be required to leave the park if they become a common nuisance to the other guests. - Dogs may not be kept leashed outside without an owner present with them. - Also, no dog kennels or houses on site. Occupancy - There is a max of (1) camping unit and (2) vehicles on each site. - Our base rate covers (1) camping unit, (1) vehicle, (2) Adults and (2) Children. Restricted Areas Paths surrounding the resort are private, and vehicle use on these paths is restricted. Vehicle - Open Air has age and aesthetic minimums at the resort. - We accept almost any rig that is 10 years old or newer. - Exceptions are on a case-by-case basis. - Please call our front desk at 512-559-4282 and coordinate sending a photo of your rig for visual inspection. Monthly Our monthly rentals are ‘month-to-month’ reservations, subject to periodic price increases. You can make longer reservations but please know that the price is not guaranteed at check-in. Demand and seasonality will impact our pricing. Alternatively, you can pay for your entire reservation upfront to lock in your monthly pricing. Biking All children under the age of 18 are required to wear bike helmets when biking around the park. Additional Guests - Additional adults are $8 per adult per day, additional children are $2 per child per day, and additional vehicles are $3 per vehicle per day. - Please register all people, pets, and vehicles upon arrival. Parking - Please park at your site and not on the road. - Overflow parking is available. Please ask at the office. Window Air Conditioner - No window A/C units are permitted. Fishing - Fishing is catch and release only. Golf Carts - (1) A golf cart is permitted and is not counted as a vehicle. - Golf carts must stay on the Open Air property. - Please do not enter adjoining neighborhoods with golf carts. Disclaimer - Make sure you take advantage of all there is to see and do in and around our park. - Our friendly staff will be happy to suggest activities on site or some popular destinations. - Thank you for choosing to stay with us! Cancellation policy for Spicewood RV Resort
Refunds be given in accordance with the Cancellation Policy below: Spot2Nite booking fees are non-refundable.
Campground Cancellation/Refund Policy - NOTE: All refunds will exclude any administrative or booking fees collected at the time of reservation. - Seasonal Stay(NE)/Annual Monthly. - All monies paid towards seasonal reservations are non-refundable. - Transient Stays of 30 Days or More. - If canceled 30 days prior to arrival date, payment in full will be refunded less a $25.00 processing fee. - If canceled less than 30 days prior to the arrival date, the total amount paid will be forfeited. - Weekly/Daily Stays. - If canceled less than 7 days prior - the full amount paid will be forfeited. - If canceled 8-14 days prior to arrival - 50% of payment will be refunded. - If canceled 15 or more days prior to arrival date - the full amount paid less a $25.00 processing fee will be refunded. - No-shows will result in forfeiture of the entire amount paid. - Management reserves the right to utilize the site for another guest. - All refunds that were originally paid by credit card must be processed to the original credit card used for payment. - If the original credit card used is no longer active: - The guest must provide proof that the credit card has been canceled. - All refunds that were originally paid by check or cash will be refunded by a corporate check within 10-14 business days. - There will be no refunds after you have checked in, for inclement weather, failure to follow the Rules & Regulations, or disorderly conduct. - We do not offer refunds for weather-related events unless we are under a mandatory evacuation. - The manager/Owner reserves the right to have discretion on all refunds. - Note: Booking fees are not subject to refund. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.

How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
