Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check-in is 3 pm. - Check-out time is 12:00 noon. - For late departure, please check with park staff. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. RV Campground Rules - Management reserves the right to refuse service to any RV based on appearance and/or condition. - Feminine products and personal/cleaning wipes (even if they're marked "flushable") should be disposed of in a garbage can, not flushed. - Tarps covering RVs are not allowed. - Long-term stays (2 weeks or more) are restricted to RVs no more than 20 years old. - No permanent structures (decks, etc.) - On camping sites, only one camping unit and two vehicles are allowed per site. - All outdoor items must be kept clean and orderly and must not infringe on a neighboring site. - Camping rates are based on 1-4 individuals per site. Pet Policy - Pets must be on a leash and cannot be disturbing to other guests. - Owners are required to clean up pet waste. Trash - Place all trash in the dumpster located at the campground entrance. Quiet hours - Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Fires - Fires are permitted in fire rings only. - Do not burn trash in fire rings. - Dry conditions may result in burn bans. Firearms - Absolutely no use of any type of gun, archery equipment, or fireworks allowed. Tent - One canopy tent no larger than 12X12 may be erected (cannot be used for extra camping space or storage). Entrance Gates - Entrance gates are provided for your security. - Do not give anyone the gate code without prior permission. Campers with OHVs - No joy riding in the campground. - Trail use is restricted to normal operating hours. - Allowing OHV riders entrance to the park when the park is closed is strictly prohibited. - All parties involved will be required to leave. Speed Limit - Posted speed limits apply to all motor vehicles, including off-highway vehicles. Trail Use Rules & Regulations - All off-highway vehicles must obey posted speed limits and traffic laws that apply to all motor vehicles on park roads. - Absolutely no speeding, wheelies, no spin-outs, and donuts in the gravel parking lots. Prohibited - Alcohol and illegal drugs are prohibited. - Helmets are required for all vehicles with the exception of those with roll bars and seat belts. - The possession of alcoholic beverages in any public area is prohibited. Age - Minooka Park follows American National Standards Institute (ANSI) regarding age requirements for ATVs. - Always follow the manufacturer’s minimum age recommendation on the ATV. - Three-wheeled ATVs are not allowed. Vehicles - Vehicles are to stay within the boundaries of the park and off all private land. - All internal combustion engines must contain a spark-arresting device properly installed and in effective working order. - Vehicles are required to stay on designated trails. - Operating a vehicle carelessly, recklessly, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited. - The gravel walking trail around the lake is designated for foot travel, only operating a vehicle on a road or trail that is blocked by a gate, sign, or other barrier to restrict such travel is prohibited. Riders - All riders must sign an official waiver form upon entering the park. - Minors 17 years and under must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver. Park Disclaimer - Failure to follow rules and regulations may result in dismissal from the park without refund. - Management reserves the right to amend rules at any time without notice. - Minooka Park has the right to amend and/or add to these rules. - Failure to follow the above rules and regulations will result in immediate dismissal from the park without refund and may in s. - Policies and terms are set and enforced directly by Minooka Park and are subject to change as their policies are adjusted. - Please contact Minooka Park for more details.

How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
