Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure Campsites: - Check-in at 1:00 pm - Check-out at 11:00 am (Early check-in/Late check-out is subject to availability; fees apply) Cabins: - Check-in is at 3:00 pm - Check-out is at 11:00 am. (Early check-in/Late check-out is subject to availability. Fees apply) - If arriving after 9:00 pm, please call to notify us. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Rates and Occupancy - Rates are based on six-person occupancy, one camping unit or two tents & 1 vehicle unless otherwise specified. - Additional individual or vehicle on a site: $8.00 - Boats on trailers are considered extra vehicles and must be parked in auxiliary parking. Visitor Policy - All guests and visitors must check in and out at the Registration building. - Visitor Pass: $8.00 + tax per person. - All visitors must depart by 10 pm. Rental Unit Policy - Bedding & cooking utensils are not provided. - Please bring your own. - Upon check-in, a cleaning deposit of $50 and a credit card are REQUIRED. - Upon departure, the cleaning deposit will be refunded if the unit is returned to the same condition upon Arrival. - A credit card will be charged for any damage. - Smoking is not allowed inside rental units, including vaping and marijuana. - A fine of $50 to $200 may be incurred. - No other camping units, including tents, are allowed on rental unit sites. - All rates are subject to change. - Registered campers only. - You cannot invite additional non-registered persons to camp in a rental unit. Site Setup and Quiet Hours: - Back your trailer into your site unless on a designated drive-thru site. - Quiet hours from 11 pm to 8 am. Fireworks and Firearms - FIREWORKS and FIREARMS not permitted. Pets - Pet-friendly campground. Pets must be on a visible leash, cleaned up afterward, and not left unattended outside. - Pets are not allowed in public buildings. - Pets are $18.00 a night each, up to two. - Pets must weigh under 60 pounds Pool Rules and Season - The pool is open from Memorial weekend until Labor Day weekend. - There is no lifeguard on duty. - Swim at your own risk. - Obey posted pool rules. - Adults must accompany children under 14. Firewood Policy - Outside firewood is not permitted due to DNR regulations. - Firewood available for sale at the camp store. - No fires are to be left unattended. Refrigerators and Facilities: - Refrigerators are not permitted on sites or in cabins. - Fines may apply. - Ice is available for sale at the registration building. - Properly use showers, washing machines, and dryers. - No dishwashing in the bathroom. - Leave picnic tables & fire rings on-site locations. - Keep the campsite clean; charges for excessive cleanup. Children Policy - Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Seasonal Sites - This includes using all common areas at the campground, water (approx. How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
