Had originally planned to stay at this park but due to some mechanical issues, plans had to change. We did go through park to check it out. Online photos had shown a beautiful, well maintained park. Camp sites looked to be near-new or freshly rebuilt. Don't know where or when these pictures were taken but they bore little resemblance to what we found. Sites were old, run down with a great deal of evident erosion. Boat trailers and cars were parked willy-nilly on what should have been grassy... Read More

Had originally planned to stay at this park but due to some mechanical issues, plans had to change. We did go through park to check it out. Online photos had shown a beautiful, well maintained park. Camp sites looked to be near-new or freshly rebuilt. Don't know where or when these pictures were taken but they bore little resemblance to what we found. Sites were old, run down with a great deal of evident erosion. Boat trailers and cars were parked willy-nilly on what should have been grassy areas. There was a good deal of junk around many sites and way too much crowding. Worst of all, there was strong reason to believe that site occupation time limits were not being adhered to with obvious permanent residence and as far as junk collection goes, these were the worst. All I can do is count my blessing that I did have that mechanical issue and didn't end up there. It will be a long time before I even think about taking another look at that place.
