We arrived first thing in the morning on Thursday, August 01, 2024. We did not have reservations, so we checked at the office to see if they had any available sites for the upcoming 5 days. They told us that, based on our trailer length, they had 2 sites available for that time frame. They gave us a map, with the sites marked, and told us to go check them out and come back to get registered. We chose Site #507, but when we got back to the office, we were informed that they were sorry, but that site... Read More

They gave us a map, with the sites marked, and told us to go check them out and come back to get registered. We chose Site #507, but when we got back to the office, we were informed that they were sorry, but that site had actually been rented earlier that morning for 2 nights. We were given the option of checking into Site #505 for 2 nights and then moving to Site #507 for the remainder of our stay. We agreed. We we happy with Site #505 and had no complaints. Site #507 was fantastic and had a beautiful view of the forest of Ponderosa Pine trees across the road. We had full hook-ups (electric, water, and sewer), as well as a cement pad, a picnic table, and a fire ring (although fire restrictions were in place while we were there). Unfortunately, there were a few down-sides to this site. The first was that there was a large ugly trash dumpster straight across from the site. Also, the forested area across the road was part of a construction project, in which they are adding an additional 150 campsites to the park, so sometimes there was a bit of noise during the day. Overall, most of the time, the site was very peaceful and quiet. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful. There were tall pine trees everywhere throughout the park and numerous areas of grassy meadows. The campsites were definitely not right on top of each other, in a parking lot fashion, like so many large campgrounds, especially those with full hook-ups. We ended up extending our stay until Tuesday, August 13, 2024. It was a very enjoyable stay!!!

It has been a disappointment. As a group, we are scattered all over the park (a half mile apart). Most are permanent spots but few people are here. The dirt roads are not graded well and are tight. Drove in at 2 mph. Glad our motorhome is only 34 feet. Staff is very friendly and WiFi is great. No problems with electric which is always a plus. We are stuck a long way from office next to a large construction project in the rv park, so while daytime weather is nice, it’s too noisy and dusty... Read More

We won’t be staying here again.

We stayed in space 340 ( pull thru space). Has 50 amp service with water, sewer connection. We are right next to a cell antenna so we have awesome internet (free wifi). Facility is very nice with large ponderosa pines. Great areas to walk your dogs. We received a coupon book at arrival for free pizza and food discounts at the casino. Some of the curves are a little tight if you are driving a big rig i the old section. But they have been clearing trees and making wider roads thru the rest of the... Read More

My only complaint is the lack of trash receptacles. We have to drive our trash to the front of the park .

We stayed two years in a row for a month at a time. But now they have got greedy. They want all summer only. They will give you a short stay spot but only two weeks. It's terrible for those of us that can only stay for shorter times!

After making a reservation arrived in the dark before their closing time. The office was closed with no information given on where to park. Some friendly folks who stay in the park guided us to a spot where we could spend the night. Only rv park on a 7 week trip that did not live up to their good sam ratings.
