Smaller park located about one mile from the center of Salina. Park has pull thru spaces with EWS hookups. The sites are fairly level gravel. There is a vented sewer manhole between RV sites 4 and 5 which is smelly in hot weather. The spaces are very close together, less than 6 feet between rigs. The park has a swimming pool (open 10-8) and wifi is available in the rec room next to the office during office hours (8-8). Showers and laundry on site are open 24 hours. There are 3 showers, a... There are 3 showers, a toilet and a urinal on the men's side and 3 showers and two toilets on the ladies side. The showers are clean. There is a separate section of the park for tent camping. The park has two goats, a peacock, a turkey and a variety of chickens wandering about. They also have some additional birds in an aviary. In the town there is "Mary's Museum" (open 11-3) full of local history and at the end of Main Street there is a museum (open 4-6) dedicated to a CCC camp that was in town that was later used as a German POW camp. The camp was the site of the "Salina Massacre" where a rogue prison guard killed 8 German POWS and injured many more after the war in Europe was over.

Family owned and run facility. Staff was friendly, facility was clean and well cared for. Park like open area on north side was nice and lots of green grass throughout area. Buildings and infrastructure were old and parts were in need of some maintenance. There is one men's and one women's restroom/shower combination (2 toilets and 3 shower stalls each) available. Clean and updated but not a 9 as rated. The wifi worked but slow download speed (.65 Mbps) but fast upload speed (5+ mbps). I... Read More

I pull a 22 foot travel trailer with slide out on both sides behind a full size crew cab Ram p/u and had no trouble pulling into the space and opening the slide outs though it was a little tight. I liked the facility and would stay again but honestly would rate it as average which is not bad in my opinion

Not bad for a over night stop, nothing to do. Told to keep our dogs away from the chickens running loose, no grass at all. Probably would not stay again

Some shade trees. Clean restrooms. A nice onsite antique room with some museum type of memorabilia. You will wake to rooster crowing if you get a space close to the farm animal corner and mini zoo. Interesting place that was a notch above the surrounding landscape. Very nice staff.
