In the Good Sams book, there's nothing about it being on the Best Western Plus grounds so it's hard to find. There are no signs with Cedar City RV in the front or back. It's a very beautiful place and great amenities!

We stayed 4 nights passing through the area to visit the nearby National Park Service sites. While the park is centrally located along a 5 lane busy commercial road in the center of town, the access is very difficult due to the angle getting off the street, over the sidewalk and into the park regardless of which driveway you use. This arrangement posed a scrapping and collision hazard. Registration/Check in is in the hotel lobby at the front desk. While the park is identified as a Good Sam member... Read More

While the park is identified as a Good Sam member which should entitle GS members to a discount, no discount was offered at check in. The hotel didn't credit points to our Best Western membership either. And Best Western would not honor our stay to apply the points without providing them a copy of our credit card statement even though we provided them a copy of the credit card charges from the hotel's receipt. The interior roads are paved through the hotel parking lot but gravel in the RV area and site parking pads are compacted gravel. There wasn't much room to maneuver through the RV parking area making the turns very tight. All of the sites are pull thrus. The P/T's were long enough to remain connected to the toad or parked directly in line. The park completely understands the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level site as sites are level. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were generally at the middle of the site. The sewer connect was slightly elevated but it wasn't too difficult to establish a downhill flow. Distance establishes privacy between the sites but the sites were generally close. The sites alternate facing direction so the utility connections or a shared table separate the sites. No fire pits but the hotel provided an outdoor elevated gas fire pit in the common area. There were a few trees scattered among the sites so satellite reception was dependent on site assignment. The park information didn't mention any cable or broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. The park provided WiFi was excellent. It was password protected. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about the reception. The no designated fenced pet areas. While the hotel grounds were small, there was adequate space along the nearby city streets to exercise a dog. However, the adjacent US Post Office grounds was posted prohibiting dog walking on the grass. There were no bag dispensers and waste collection station around the hotel grounds but there were dumpsters near the RV area and garbage cans around the grounds. Pool & hot tub were closed for the season. For being in a hazardous/severe weather area, there was no underground storm shelter. None of the structures in the park were identified as a severe weather shelter. We would stay here again if in the area but mainly due to the perks and consigner. TIP: Hotel provided complimentary evening BBQ's, outdoor movies and a full hot breakfast. There was also a garden on site. At the end of the season, the produce was offered to the guests. Due to the limited number of sites, recommend making reservations as there is a Shakespearian festival in town.
