I made reservation after reviewing the Good Sam info which indicated this was a decent park. Nice lady on phone told me at time of reservation that office was only open in mornings due to covid and a packet would be available outside office when I arrived. I definitely told her what type of RV we had -- class A. When we arrived after battling major thunderstorms and heavy traffic during entire trip from Florida, found there was no real packet, just a note on door for anyone who showed up, which... Read More

Nice lady on phone told me at time of reservation that office was only open in mornings due to covid and a packet would be available outside office when I arrived. I definitely told her what type of RV we had -- class A. When we arrived after battling major thunderstorms and heavy traffic during entire trip from Florida, found there was no real packet, just a note on door for anyone who showed up, which indicated to pick a site, put money in envelope (provided) and mark which site on envelope. Thought that was a rather strange way to do business, but figured it had been a long day so we took envelope, a map of the park, and went looking for a site for our RV. Roads and sites were very poorly marked and making matters worse, there wasn't a single open site in entire park which could accommodate our class A. We drove around for 15 minutes and then gave up and went elsewhere. I DEFINITELY would NOT recommend this park! The Good Sam rating is a joke, at best -- this park is poorly laid out and virtually all of the spaces are taken up by longer term residents. Not having a specified site set aside when an advance reservation was made is a terrible way to do business, and left some very tired travelers scrambling to find alternative accommodations.

We have made this campground our routine stopover on our way to NY from Florida and back. The grandchildren love the little play park they have there. They also like feeding the ducks. I like parking under the big pines in the shade. The owners are very nice and friendly. They even gave me some sausage once (it was very good). We have been staying at this RV park for three years now and will keep staying. The bathroom is always clean and it is air conditioned. The bathroom is small but works... Read More

My wife and I stayed here from the end of Dec 2018 through Mar 2019 and enjoyed the park very much. It is quiet, the owners are good folk, spaces are not on top of each other, propane is available and it is off the main roads. The main office is nice, but the men's restroom was in need of an upgrade. Don't really know about the woman's restroom though. The laundry room is small, two washers and dryers, but very clean. We plan to stay here again when needed or just to get away for a weekend.

My wife and I were totally dissatisfied with this campground. We were traveling with another couple and had asked for sites beside each other. It didn't happen. We asked for full hookups. I got full hookups but they didn't. When I checked in, I clearly told the woman my Class C was 30 amps. I noticed after setting up that she had charged me a 50 amp surcharge. I went back to the office, but it was closed. Since the office didn't open until 2pm the next day, the day we left, I couldn't address the... Read More

Three calls to Jolly Acres requesting a return call was never honored. While I had a sewer hookup, it was a very strange arrangement. The campground had used PVC to make a T-connection coming out of the ground that served two adjoining sites such that you had to connect to it parallel to the ground. When one camper dumped, it also flowed into other campers sewer line. My neighbor and I happened to set up the same time and we both were perplexed by the arrangement. The mens restroom and single shower were very basic. The men's shower had the odor of rotten eggs. There was also no bench. Will never stay at Jolly Acres again!

We stayed one night while driving through Georgia. The campground is very quiet with lots of room between spots. There is water and electric but no sewer hookup. Two dumps are onsite, although we had no need to use them. The owners appear to be conservative and are proud enough of it to post political signs, but they don't try to convert you and since we didn't bring it up, it was not a factor during check in. We were led to a spot that was nearly level (most sites looked level or almost level)... Read More

We were led to a spot that was nearly level (most sites looked level or almost level) and had no problem hooking up. The restroom, located right next to the office, is very clean but small, dark and in need of updating. I didn't look at the laundry facility. Convenience stores and restaurants are not close. I would stay again if we drive through Georgia.

An older campground, but it's clean, neat and well-maintained. The owners are an older couple with an equally older handyman. All are very nice and very helpful. The camp store has little to offer other than snacks. The restrooms (one shower and commode for women, the same for men) are clean and well-stocked. The campground has an interesting layout and there is plenty of room on each site. The campground map shows only the short-term sites. There appear to be many seasonal or permanent sites.... I think it would be a nice summer campground. We were there in January so couldn't see it with green grass and full of campers. Grocery stores are within a few miles, a Super Walmart is about 20 miles away. There is a railroad about a mile away and the trains run regularly. Would return.

This is a smaller park with about 35 sites, well kept up and very quiet. Check in was fast and friendly. They have a fishing pond and a picnic area along with some trails for walking. We were the site right behind the laundry building. A gravel pull through that was long enough for our 37-foot Class A, tow-dolly and parking the car. We had water and electric (50amp) only. There were plenty of places to walk the dog. WiFi was good and our Verizon signal was strong. We stayed January 2, 2018 and paid... Read More

WiFi works, if you are close enough to the office. No cable TV. Kind of out of the way in a small community. Big open lots.

Friendly, gravel sites, reasonably priced,no amenities but we were there for only one night so ok with us. Off the interstate but quiet at night. Very foul smelling and tasting water, not sulfur .

This is a nice, quiet, very shady campground. The layout of the sites is very strange. We were in a pull-through site that was L-shaped, but it worked for us. The owners are very nice, fun to talk to. It would be a great place to just kick back and relax.

Nice park. 5 mile off I 26. Friendly people, clean, nice fishing pond with ducks, fenced in. Big sites, lots pull thru, 30 and 50 amp. Only staying one night. Will definitely keep this one bookmarked as a place to stay on the way to and from Florida. They are providing a Thanksgiving meal for everyone in the park. I understand they do this at least once a month.
