Great staff at check in and checkout. Otherwise….very tight spaces, low water pressure and sewer connections buried into the side of the hill. Late Oct, this was the only campsite still open, but closes in a week. Shocking that there are so few campgrounds within 50 miles of Pittsburgh. For an overnight stay, only if nothing else is available.

If you don't like driving up steep hills and winding roads, and if you can't walk up a steep hill, then avoid this sardine can! Only thing positive was nice staff. OK for one night if necessary and you don't need to walk.

This campground looks like it was built long before the big rigs were. We learned to drive our motor home through an eye of a needle (Roads are extremely narrow. My husband said they look like golf cart paths if you can picture that). The sites are very small and uneven. Most sites are on a hillside. There was really no room between you and your neighbor. Our neighbor lost their electric (at the box) and was without for at least three hours. The grounds could be ok for tents or small trailers... Read More

AWFUL.. Pool was so still and dirty we didn't dare swim in it... the sites were uneven and the picnic table was on a small sloped patch of grass. The connections worked but we were afraid to hook up b/c they were so old... Will not return.

NOT big rig friendly!!! We have a 43 foot fifth wheel and bottomed out on the truck just go into the park to turn around so we could leave. Very hilly and narrow one lane road on the way in. Was supposed to snow and be slippery overnight and we could not risk not being able to leave in the AM as those roads in being slippery, we would surely have ended up in the ditch. So we did not stay and cancelled our reservation for that night but had to turn around in the park, again very steep narrow lane... Read More

So we did not stay and cancelled our reservation for that night but had to turn around in the park, again very steep narrow lane once your in and it winds around and up to where we bottomed out going over a ridge of some kind. Pavement was too narrow to accommodate our trailer so it was dragged through mud scrapping along the pavement on one side. Perhaps okay if you rig is less than 20 feet or so. We did get a refund so that was good, but this not a park for large rigs or to go near if roads are slippery.
