This was our first visit to KOA Meadville. It's clean, quiet, and everyone we met was very friendly just as camping should be. The site we had #41 (50 amp) was a perfect size and very easy to hookup and level out on. They had great activities for families to enjoy over the weekend and it was nice seeing owners so involved in them ensuring everyone was enjoying the campground. We will be back for the next 3 weekends as it's a relaxing place to enjoy while still being able to drive home or to work... Read More

We will be back for the next 3 weekends as it's a relaxing place to enjoy while still being able to drive home or to work if needed as Fairview is only about 35-40 minutes away.
I read a lot of reviews prior to our visit and honestly based on our own visit do not agree with a lot of the recent negitive reviews we read prior to visiting. I am glad we decided to give it a try.

The camp the site was just ok. We kept tripping the beaker when the AC and hot water heater we both running. We had to run the hot water heater on gas. The showers were a joke. I preferred to use my small shower in the camper instead of these. The rules at the camp site are just crazy. You are only allowed 8 people at any site at any one time. If you camp with a group of people and like to sit around one camp fire at night, this is not allowed. The clueless workers allowed 7 day guests to pay to... Read More

The clueless workers allowed 7 day guests to pay to visit and then had the nerve to call me and tell me they would have to visit in shifts or move our group to a restaurant. You must buy an arm band to use the bouncy pillow, pedal cars, or miniature golf. You can not just pay for each activity. The nice bouncy pillow is only open for two hours a day on Sat and Sun. The kids are not even allowed to jump in the pool. It is like they enjoy taking the fun out of the kids day. I will never return.

Thank you for kamping with us. We're sorry you were unhappy here. The electrical breaker only supplies 30 amps. Water heaters use 12-14 amps, refrigerators use 5.7 amps, air conditioners use 15-18 amps, Power converters use 2-3 amps. You were using over 30 amps running your air, refrigerator, converter, and air conditioner. Don't let RV slaesmen tell you that you can run everything in your RV at once. It's not true for 30 nor 50 amp sites! We're sorry, but you are mistaken, as the rental... Read More

We're sorry, but you are mistaken, as the rental amenities can be purchased seperately at $5/boat, $5/kart, $4.minigolf game, and $7/jumping pillow. The boats and bikes are for 1/2 hour. The bands at $7.00/day for unlimited 1/2 hour on, 1/2 hour off use are a great deal. We also offer an all-stay for $12 (up to one week). This is all sopelled out in the Weekend Agenda you were provided at check-in.
We do allow people jump to get into the pool. We don't allow repetitive jumping, nor running and jumping because that's how children get hurt.
Yes, we do restrict visitors to 8 people per campsite, as too large a group is discourteous to your camping neighbors. No one wants to camp next to a noisy mob. And big groups are noisy by default, not because they are doing anything wrong.
We're sorry our facilities and policies didn't meet your needs. We hope you find a great camping experience that does! We wish you safe and happy kamping where ever your travels take you!

Great campground with large spaces and big areas for reunions, etc. Hosts/Staff were mostly helpful and not too chatty (there was this one though... Ha!). I only give the 3 due to the tough hills required to get to the camp with 6% and 7% inclines and No cell service in the area. Hilly campground but spaces were largly level and roomy.
Thank you for camping with us. Your lack of cell phone service is not our fault. Please report your lack of service here to your cellular provider. They are the people who have not served you well. We sell campsites, not cellular service. There are apps you can download to your phone that will tell you whether you'll have service at different campgrounds. Or switch to a cellular provider that really provides service, instead of one that claims to, but does not. We live in Pennsylvania, which... Read More

We live in Pennsylvania, which happens to have the Allegheny mountains run through it. We can move mountains to make it Carolina flat here. Not much can be done. Our roadways are state highways, and are in fair shape. Your tow vehicle and RV should be properly sized and maintained to easily navigate state highways and the small hills we have here.
We wish you safe and happy travels where ever you go!
