This is the second time we camped at this campground, both times we camped in the B loop, both were back in sites, both times in the early spring. The first time we camped here we visited the nearby Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site (U.S. National Park Service) if you haven't visited there before it is a great destination. This time we camped here to break in our new-to-us Motorhome. Last time we were in B-33 this time in B-32. Each time I have stayed here there were not too many choices in... Read More

This time we camped here to break in our new-to-us Motorhome. Last time we were in B-33 this time in B-32. Each time I have stayed here there were not too many choices in available sites. On the first night, we lost 1 of the legs of our 50 amp service, it came back the second night. I did call the main office about the issue, they said that it does happen. There were lots of kids for our children to play with and the neighbors were friendly. Both of these sites were not ideal for a larger rig, ours is 41 feet, but we did fit. The bathrooms were ok, they were mostly clean but were pretty muddy and for a popular weekend should have been cleaned more often. We enjoy staying at State Parks and being close to nature. This is the main Benefit of French Creek State Park.
