Overall a very nice park, pretty quiet and some trees. Nice location near the marina, docks, boat launch, etc. Good local restaurants nearby as well as wholesale and retail seafood vendors, and charter fishing. Lots of seasonal/permanent residents, seemed cordial. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Security was excellent, with frequent patrols and presence day and night. Very clean park and bathrooms, trash emptied regularly, residue from fish and shellfish cleaning also removed often.... Read More

Just a few suggestions to make it even better: showers need some hooks to hang your personal items/towels on and a bench to sit on or put items on, inside the individual shower rooms, not out in the bathroom sink area. The card table chair was usually wet and not adequate for this. Also need paper towel dispensers in the bathrooms! Hand dryers are useless. That being said, we stayed for a month and would stay again and recommend it to friends.

Spent a week here in July, 19. The park is somewhat difficult to get to as you must drive through Coos Bay. It is several miles off US101. The park itself is a large asphalt parking lot divided off into streets, with lines painted for individual sites which are very adequate for a 34" 5th wheel with 3 slides. All services worked, as did my satellite dish. My cost was $230 (32.86 day) per week. We did not use the Bathroom/Shower. Nothing fancy, but very adequate. Charter fishing was available.... There is a great seafood wholesaler down the street, Oysters in the shell were $6.50 per dozen.
