Stayed at Buds place for 2 nights while visiting Carlbad Caverns. The first thing was the dust, when I found my spot as soon as I walked into the grass my legs turned brown from all the dust in it. There are a lot of construction vehicles coming and going creating tons of dust. The restroom/showers were in need of cleaning. All shower stalls had hair in them and even more the next night. The stalls had a notice posted that says a lot about the place. NOTICE Toilets work best if you pee/poop into them, not on, around or in the general vicinity. The Management

Stayed here over 4th of July. Office/store was closed due to the holiday but the facility was very nice! Plenty of room at each site, dog park, fishing pond, nice restrooms, and close to downtown and attractions! I would definitely go back!

My major concern is the restrooms are not fully maintained. The lady`s handicap shower drain was loose and very dangerous to anyone who wanted to use that stall. If you were handicapped you were in trouble. There were four for soap dispensers in the ladies restroom. Two had no soap at all one was half full 1/8 full. The men's room had all soap dispensers missing. When I contacted the manager she said they were not replacing them because they were being stolen and or broken. That does not bode well for the type of customers they have in the park, which appeared to be transient oil workers.

We stayed here from September 2020 - February 2021. Great place!!! The restrooms are kept very clean and sanitized. The laundry room is clean. They have a pond and my 9 year old loved to go there and go fishing. The owner Lana is sweet as can be and will address any problem you have. She was always quick to get back to you with your concerns. If we ever have to go back to Carlsbad we will be staying here.

No full time greeter after six pm, no camp host. Filled with nice people, mostly transient oil and gas fields workers. By no means a five star facility. Bathrooms are unattended to on the weekends...dirty, no toilet paper in either the men's or women's bathrooms, lots of dust due to speeding of vehicles through the property. Definitely not 15 minutes from Carlsbad Caverns. Pet friendly. No swimming pool or other recreational facilities on site. Price was reasonable but my trip through Carlsbad next month will find me at another facility or a local motel. Sorry for the bad review but other RV'ers need to know that this is a basic amenity facility. Consider some heavy duty park maintenance and infrastructure repairs and I might be back.

Spent 2 nights in Aug 2018 @ $45 per night with discount. 25 to 35 minutes N of Carlsbad Caverns Park. This is a gravel parking lot set up for RV's. Many monthlies who appear to work in construction or the oil fields. Lots of dusty traffic early & late, because of this. All sites gravel, pull-through, level & FHP including cable and WiFi (cable requires free issued box and call a to provider to turn on). Electrical volts barely enough during 100 degree weather. This is bad for AC. Showers are new and clean. No place for the kiddies to play! Construction in front of park on city street when I was here. Laundry $2 to wash & $1.50 to dry. One of the more expensive places to stay for next to nothing extra. Roads wide and level, plenty of room. Will not return or recommend.

Park opened in September of 2016 and already about 1/2 filled with permanent residents. Some are laborers who come back in evening with loud trucks and music. Would have loved to have windows open to the cool night air...even with windows closed it was noisy. All of units on site were bumper pulls and 5th wheels. I and and one other class a were only two temps that came in. With so many area attractions and the nice weather would have thought more plus being Friday. The pull throughs are level, gravel. Large shared grassy area with one table and one grill, As other poster stated. Bathrooms are nice though in dire need of a Broom..wear shoes. Nice laundry room all the machines were in working order. No real litter to speak of other than small stuff around camp site. The one employee was nice and accomidating. Pices were high for a very plain jane park.(zero activities) Pet friendly though no dog run. Park is planning to expand soon.

This is a newly opened RV park. The sites are gravel and level pull throughs, with spacious areas between. Interestingly, RVs pull in from the opposite direction from neighbor, so two share a grassy area, with doors facing each other. Very neighborly. Landscaping is yet to be completed; there is some grass and small trees, yet to fill out. While a bit rough right now, Bud's Place will be awesome when completed. The manager is very efficient and accommodating.
