Gold Country RV Park Good Sam Verified Campground

I wish Good Sam would update there rating for this park as I used the app and it seemed so appealing. There are a few spots but i would not take anything in here over 30ft because the spots are to tight. They did not offer us WiFi and the Pool was close cause they were waiting on parts. Most of the tenants in this park are here permanently. The sight was a bit unlevel front to back like you are on a bit of a hill slant. The only thing i can say is this place is cheep and you get what you pay for.

Small RV Park but very tidy. Right behind the Casino, so it made for easy access to lots of fun things. Staff was very nice and accommodating. We arrived after a long day of travel and the restaurant was great. Good food and quick staff. Casino felt smoke free.

Horrible, we wish we had read reviews first. Very disappointed but too tired to move on. We stayed 1 night. Campers do not pick up after their pets. We don't mind pets but poop is another matter. We had site #1. Its all gravel, no grass (others do have grass). This sited very small even for our 17' Casita. Rules obviously are not enforced here. A lot of permanents not conforming to rules.. Some have junk everywhere! We reported the site next to us. Bathrooms/pool are a 5, clean, well kept. You can use the motels pool, and laundry room.. You get Casino coupons. If you do stay I recommend you check the site before you take your rig in. Difficult for class A's and 5th wheels to maneuver and very little area to park. Honestly, I wouldn't recommended 5th wheel or Class As. I just read the other reviews, they are spot on.

If our job is to rate the RV park (aka facility) then I have no idea how it rates a 9. Yes, it is adjacent to the Gold Country Casino but the RV park deserves more like a 3. You have to go into the casino to check in to the RV park, but you don't really see the sign telling you that until you have gone in towards the RV park. You have to go into the casino to check in to the RV park, but you don't really see the sign telling you that until you have gone in towards the RV park. We weren't given any internet password, which you need. Our site had no outdoor table or even real room to set up chairs. If you have dogs, the "Dog Walk" sign takes you through a gate onto a city street. It has some grass which is well groomed but overall our stay was only mediocre as RV campgrounds go. They have no RV supplies of any kind. The casino staff were very nice, though. There were 3 Good Sam Campgrounds in Elko and when we come back, we will try one of the other ones.

Just checked in after using the Good Sam ratings. The RV campground is behind the casino/hotel. It is 90% permanent RV's, very close quarters. I have a 36' 5th wheel and wasn't sure I would get around all the vehicles. Restrooms clean but very old. Would not stay here again.
