This was a lovely stop. The property is rustic and charming, but well-maintained. The people who operate this campground are thoroughly engaged, very friendly, and very helpful. It was all round and extremely positive experience. Would definitely stay here again.
Beware that there are two exits off I-94. The eastern exit will take your through the main street in town and there is a overhead bridge with 11'4" clearance. PAY ATTENTION! There is a truck route around this bridge or you can just exit off the interstate from the western exit to town and avoid the bridge altogether.
We stayed two days and three nights here. At first I was concerned about the campground and town, but realized this is a good place to stay as a stopover. Most travelers a stayed only one night, but they missed the western charm of the downtown area. Admittedly two full days here is one day too long, but we still enjoyed the stop. I can't say enough good things about the KOA staff. It was a very easy check-in and follow-me to the site. Upon the day of our departure our slide window shattered.... Read More

The teenage boy (I wish I got his name) cleaning the sites quickly came over and offered assistance. He got me a shop-vac to pick up the glass on the camper inside and then proceeded to pick-up glass outside on his hands and knees. He then brought me tape and plastic to cover the window opening and gave me the name and number of a company who could make repairs. Afterwards, when everything was cleaned up and we were ready to depart, I thanked him and tried to give him a tip, which he refused saying it was his pleasure and part of the job. Next time passing thru Miles City MT, I'm definitely stopping here.

This was our first stay at this park. Site was pull thru and accommodated both tow vehicle and fifth wheel. Site was gravel with grass, also a picnic table and fire ring. Site was shaded. Staff were friendly, ease of registration.
Well maintained. Excellent customer service - friendly at check-in, escort to site, picked up garbage in the morning. Mostly shady campsite but not so many trees to make parking difficult.
The staff make this park. The sites and roads are gravel and satellite reception is only available in a couple of sites. The parks cable provider had just turned off analog signals, so if your TV is not digital, you will be out of luck as we were. The staff helped us move to one of the few sites with good satellite access. They may be stocking converters for campers to use. If TV is important for you, ask before making a reservation. I did not rate the restrooms because I did not use them. Read More
