We were on a trip to visit Yellowstone National Park. Originally, we planned to stay in West Yellowstone at a small RV park for 5 nights. Not knowing the town of West Yellowstone, we changed our minds and decided to stay here. The RV park is not much to brag about but the Restaurant and Bar on the premises made it convenient. My problem was that after driving in Yellowstone the whole day, I did not look forward to the drive back to the RV in the evening. I changed our reservation for the last two nights back to the RV park in West Yellowstone and I told the owner of Driftwater that we were leaving two nights earlier than we planned. I expected to eat the two nights at Driftwater, but the owner refunded the money for the two nights, which she did not have to do. If I were a hunter or fisherman, I would stay here as often as possible. The food and drinks were superb and the staff very friendly.

If you are looking for a nice relaxing place to chill, this is it. Sites were diagonal so you weren't window to window with your neighbor. Grassy site but some weeds with stickers so I was concerned about our pet's paws. Nothing around for 20 miles except good restaurant and bar on the premises with live entertainment on Saturday night. Owner is very friendly. Showers were good, but bathroom was a storage room.

We stayed 5 nights. The view from the park is beautiful. The atmosphere is relaxed and the people are great. Close to Yellowstone without the crowd. Good food and drink right there. It was the best experience we had in travelling cross country.

We weren't sure about this park as we passed through the town of Cameron and still had to drive 20 more miles to the park. But when we arrived, we were very glad to be there. The views all around us of the mountains were to die for! Absolutely amazing and the weather was the best. The thunderstorms rumbled between the mountains but they didn't last long and the sunsets are awesome too! Rachel and her staff are very friendly and helpful and the restaurant served wonderful food, including great pizza!... Read More
