This is a good place to stop for an over-night stay, but unless you like to fish, there's not a lot to do other than enjoy the scenery, which is very nice. As the name suggests, the park sits on the banks of the Clark Fork River. There's a restaurant on site that was decent. The park is very close to I-90, so there is some road noise. The laundry room was not very clean and campers must compete with the laundry from the restaurant. One dryer looked like it had greasy aprons in it, so opted not to use that one.

The campground is small with around 15 dirt spaces of varying lengths among tall pine trees. It is associated with a restaurant, casino, and motel nestled in a canyon between Interstate 90 and the Clark Fork River (which is about thirty feet lower than the sites). The campground "office" is a desk in the corner of the restaurant so don't expect any RV supplies or groceries. Wifi is available inside the restaurant for e-mail and texting but data was blocked. There is a path from the campground down to the river where there is a small sand beach which is great for wading. They advise that they are in bear country and the dumpsters are enclosed behind a fence topped with an electrified strand. There are two toilets and one shower in each of the two rest rooms. There is a laundry with two washers and dryers. A railroad line runs along the opposite side of the river from the campground with frequent trains but whistles are infrequent. Not all sites have full hook ups but there is a dump station near the entrance. The staff was friendly. Sometimes they park campers in the campground access road as overflow which can make access interesting.

A good stop over park, full hookups but campground is very basic. Next to interstate highway so noise is a factor. Attached restaurant is OK to good, but a bit pricey. Servers are very friendly and helpful, make you feel appreciated. Can be hard to find due to lack of signs; both us and campers next to us missed it on first try. In spite of all this I would likely stay here again.

We had a mixed experience with this park. The park itself is right on the river, which is beautiful! However, the check-in process was a bit of an adventure. You check-in inside the restaurant. I had to track down the hostess to get registered. Then she explained where we needed to park and how to get there and I told her that an RV was parked on the "through road" she wanted us to go down. We ended up having to figure out how to get to our spot a different way and thankfully, a fellow guest helped us back into our spot. There are men's and women's restrooms with one shower each. They were moderately clean. I loved the shower curtain (cute camper print). Things we enjoyed: Being near the river Having a restaurant on property Things we did not enjoy: Being close to the highway noise Train noise Noisy neighbors (there were no "quiet hours") No Wifi except in the restaurant and we could never connect to that even while being in the restaurant.
