A scenic KOA with all of the great amenities right off I44 and across the street from Six Flags. The downside to the park is the noise from the roads and the trains that run just across the street all night long. Even with a noise maker, the sound and shaking of our coach woke us up multiple times every night. The sites are gravel with grass between the sites. The grass quickly turns into mud with the rains that are normal in the spring and early summer. The park has a pool, which is open seasonally,... Read More

The park has a pool, which is open seasonally, playground, inflated jumpy, bike rentals, horse shoe pit and reasonable restroom, showers and laundry. The park had working wifi that only slowed down during peak times. We will definitely stay elsewhere the next time we are in the area because of the trains. This is a beautiful campground with nice trees and lots of things for the kids to do. Bathrooms are clean and we'll managed and the spaces actually have space! Easy in and out and only 1 Mike from Six Flags if you like. There is some train noise but I can't fault the KOA for that. The staff here is fabulous! Highly recommend if you are in the St. Louis area. The only drawback is that some of the sites are not as level as you'd want. The mature trees and rolling nature of the park create these... The meeting facilities here are nice as well if you are planning a gathering as we did.

This is an older campground that has updated some and added many things to do on site. The internal roads had potholes that need to be filled. Escorted to our site A36, an end of row site next to some campground construction materials. This is a pull through site, but we elected to back out on leaving due to the closeness of a tree at the site and the turn we would have to make. Had 50 amp service, water, sewage, wifi (very weak) and cable (a lot of video noise and audio noise due to the cable... Read More

Campfire wood is $7 per bundle. Told the lady at the desk on the way out that the cable was almost unusable...she acted like she could care less.

Stayed one night. One unpleasant staffer didn't ruin my evening because there were plenty of friendly ones. I found the price a bit steep and thought they accepted the Good Sam discount, but they didn't. They had lots of stuff going on for kids.
