Very friendly, very helpful staff. They escorted us to our site, helped us set up and delivered the firewood. The bathrooms were clean- both the toilets and showers. The sites were a little close together. The beach and playground were a huge hit with the kids.

This is a pretty little campground. It has water and electric and rustic sites, cabins and a pavilion for rent. With its small, sandy beach, swimming pond and numerous youth centered activities, Gammy Woods appeals most to families traveling with children. The atmosphere was that of a playground at recess. WIFI is available at the office. We had some trouble accessing it. Hand dipped ice cream cones are sold there as well. Interior roads are gravel. Sites are grass. It is hard to tell... Read More

It is hard to tell if there are boundaries between sites. Campers, tents, cars and trucks are everywhere with not much rhyme or reason. The lavatories and showers are excellent.

Not a horrible campground, however you can't bring in your own wood. The wood they sell is junk, smoked black, and was very expensive. $10 for about 10-12 pieces that lasts less than an hour. To burn wood all day would cost 3x the cost to camp each night.
